I agree! I think Light Violet would make for an epic fiver base. It's such a great color!

There are too many shades in the Paulson line-up. The sheer number of variations of blue is bordering on ridiculousness. This Light Violet I bet would be very difficult to distinguish from Fuchsia, especially if it were just an edge spot.

It's true - the blues and purples/reds/pinks are over weighted... But the palette is broad enough to achieve greatness, I'd say. You just need to use them sparingly. :)

Has anyone ever done a CPC dice chip tribute? I know we all HATE dice chips but for most of us of a certain generation we played with those chips for years and still have large collections of them. There is something ironic and funny about spending a few hundred bucks on a tribute set of CPCs.

What say you?

lighten up (or darken) the orange on the 25k. the numbers are sort of hard to see.

I haven't tested the colors with the color kit yet. Could just be the tool image. The T500 seems similar but that base color is hard to represent on screen.

I think it would be great to do a Matsui or Sunfly group buy, with a custom mold so they look exactly like dice chips, but cost about $2/chip. ;)

Here was the progression of mock-ups for my customs over several years:

First mockup from the ASM days (recreated in the new chip designer)

CPC is brings back custom chipping - and adds DG peacock!

Then DG tiger!

Then the scroll mold becomes an option (with 44mm chips! had to check those out)

Nah, back to HHR

Need to have imperial blue, love that color, and it goes so well with DG tiger....

Can't get the orange chip right.....
BarrelHouse_V11.png

Almost there - need a 20k or 25k chip too...
BarrelHouse_V12.png

One last check on the scroll mold....

And..... done. I ended up getting both a 20k and 25k chip, couldn't decide between the two....
