Poker Chips you regret selling (1 Viewer)

There are sets that I would buy back if I could (I’m looking at you, web mold Scandia), but selling them when I did was the right move.

Custom BCC hotstamp cash set.

BCC Desert Palms cash set.

Don't really regret the various casino Paulson sets that were bought and sold.

Big regret not ordering a custom TRK set when it was possible. God damn.

I had a decent Paulson Cardroom hotstamp set that I should kept. Shoulda kept the antique rose set. I'd snap buy that back in a heartbeat, but I know it's in a good home.

If I had unlimited funds, I'd probably still own most (not all) of the many sets I've owned and sold.

But the rental/lease model I've embraced from early-on has served me well, giving me the opportunity to enjoy several dozen great sets before subsequently passing them along for others to enjoy.

The few sets I still have (ten or so) will likely be with me for a long time.

This is true. I feel like I’m pretty locked in myself barring something else randomly popping up that would cause me to dump a current set

I regret selling a small, solid TRK Kings Crown hot stamp cash set from the last TRK group buy on CT.

I've considered selling my BCC custom hot stamp tourney set and my ASM Roman Mold cash set, but I fear regret.

PNYs, PCAs, ESPT, WTH&C, NPS, Egyptians, Condado Beaches, Horseshoe Gardenas, Outposts, Lucky Derbies, Vegas Worlds, Nevada Club/Lodges, Vineyard $500s...all dearly departed.

Hell, I even almost regret selling the AS hotstamps. Almost, but they were hotstamps, after all.

The rest of those above, whoever has them now, please send them all back home...

My Insert Coins Poker Room THC solids micro cash set. So dumb of me to sell it :(
Perfect for my 5c/10c fun low stakes game. I had way more denominations than needed but I had to have all those colors LOL

I don't have pics anymore but about 5 or 6 years ago I sold my Paulson Pharaoh set....that thing was banging I had around 2600 of them for a cash/tourney set up for 1/2 and 4 tourney tables. I sold it to a chipper though, that fellow flew up from someplace in the US, can't remember to pick check them out in person for the sale. If you are a PCF member I hope your having fun with them. They had 10 Egyptian Plaque originals ceramics that were front and back side of the tut mask, also around 100 of the $5's were Paulson Classics that played in or seperately if I needed a different $5 for some reason. They served me well for many games holding up perfectly. It was the good memory of these quality chips that lead me to ordering a bunch of HSI chips in a similar breakdown as I had with the pharaoh's.... with a larger emphasis on the cash portion which was a limitation of the Pharaoh set I had as it would only cover 1 table of 1/2 without playing more higher value chips. Often that set would see games that started with tournaments and the lingerers would start up a cash game with the .25,$1 and $5 chips while the tournament would use $25+ chips....I would not play the $25's again that night in the cash game as I had 400+ something 5's to carry a 1/2 home game pretty far. If we ever exceeded the $5 chips I had some blue Nexgen Luckybees that would play as $10 chips.
I still have the bee's even though they have been listed a few times....I am glad to hold on to those for now.

I regret selling all the chips I had that were made by TR King, BCC, Paulson, ASM, Chipco. Yep I've had them all, and now I have china clays. I like my China clays but man, I wish I still had those sets.

I’ve sold sets of Paulsons, BCC’s, ASM’s, TRK’s, BJ’s, BG’s and Chipcos. But only because I decided to, not because I had to. So regrets, none.
