Hi all,

It’s been a while since I’ve been active on the forum. Between a newborn at home, work, and everyday life, the hobby took a bit of a back seat.

Most of my collecting happened in 2022–2023, and I focused almost exclusively on Paulson chips. I picked up a ‘98 CDI cash set, an ES cash set, and a few miscellaneous racks of SB, among others.

I’m curious where the market stands today. Have these chips generally gone up or down in value over the past few years? Basically wondering if I lost my shirt with this hobby or if my “investment” held up reasonably well.

Thought this could be a fun topic for discussion. Who knows—maybe it’ll even convince me to start putting some money back into poker chips again.

Still pretty new comparatively on this forum, but prices have definitely gone down the past year. Not "lost my shirt" down but still

There have been a bunch of very recent sales for all the sets you've listed so it should be very quick and easy to search those up and see what the market price is.

After I posted this, I have been searching and comparing the recent prices to what I paid. Seems to be down a little.

That's what I've noticed as well, down in some cases, same in some others. Nothing too bad overall for a hobby in my opinion.
