Poker chip storage ideas (1 Viewer)

Just bought a cheap Riffle Case for about $60 on german Amazon.

I cut the insert so that I can store 13 casino racks with 1,300 chips in it.

Since the chips had a little too much play at the top and partly fell out of the racks or it also rattled, I cut a foldable yoga mat under the racks and on top, so that now there is enough pressure from above and the chips no longer move.

I will cut out some more in the front to accommodate buttons and cards.

Nice!!!

So for storage, what cases are best for CPC chips. Should I use racks or should I use a case with felt or whatever they put in them. Just wondering after I oil them and let them dry as best as they can, what is the best method for longevity?

I've had this Harbor Freight tool box for years now. Holds 1,200 plus room for cards. Could do 1,600 if needed. We have a rotating game and I am the chip supplier and frequently the table supplier too. Works good, not sure if HF still has these or not. The knock of Pelicans seem like they would be the way to go if you were buying today. One trick I learned is pull the guts out of some paracord and slip the racks in a loop of it, that way you can get them out of the tight space maybe without them ending up all over the floor. :)
