Cody, our lab/shepherd mix has been having a hard time standing up from the prone position the last few months. I thought for sure it was Hip Displasyia. Turns out his hips are just fine. Its his knees that are fucked up. Medial Luxating Patella. We'll be meeting with an orthopedic surgeon next week.

I wish @k9dr was close buy to consult with. Travel expenses might be a tad much lol

Yikes good luck. Did a TPLO ACL repair on our lab this year. Expensive and long recovery but now he is good as new. Hope you get a good prognosis.

I've posed pics of them already but here are some new ones

Mittens is like the best cat ever. Super chill, loves to cuddle, has no problems with being held or having nails trimmed. She has never scratched or bitten.

Katze isn't as good as mittens but she's still awesome. Doesn't like to do the other thing mittens tolerates but she sleeps with us every night and purrs like crazy. She doesn't bite or scratch either
