I plan to buy small chip cases can store inside backpack.
The only store nearby is Pelican, and Apache and Nanuk are not available.

I plan to buy Pelican 1200. I feel 1300 is too big.

Chips are stored using coin tubes.
(Guardhouse, 40mm x 40mm x 70mm)

Based on the Mycasebuilder app, it looks like can store 15 tubes = 300 chips.
(It's purposely designed to stick out 10mm. Finger notch on both sides.)

I'm going to buy it on the next weekend, do you have any advice?

Make a hole in the Pick N' Pluck foam. It should be possible to store 5 chip tubes side by side.

Okay. Make a hole between the toothpicks.

Pelican's foam is soft and will sag during processing. (No problem with storage.)
If you are concerned, I think it would be better to use polyethylene foam.

Done! There are no finger holes, but the chip tube can take out.

It's currently use for collections vault, but I'd like to eventually buy a poker chip set and store it.:)

If you want to toughen that foam up, buy PlastiDip spray cans. Search them on here, does wonders for the foam in Pelicans.

Great rec, although if anyone is going to take this route, make sure you let the dipped foam air out for a long time

Let’s just say I now have a set of chips I can “huff”
