For my money, it's Miller's Bar, in Dearborn (Detroit) MI.

Nobody has even come close. It's so good, they they don't even give you a bill. You go up to the Bartender and tell him (unless you are sitting at the actual bar, e has no idea) what you ordered. Since 1941, it's operated on the honor system (in a city known for it's crime) - and remains profitable.

Also, one more reason to take it away from the well-beaten path.

Miller’s Bar burgers are amazing, just finally tried them not too long ago & I’ll be back soon. It’s funny how you don’t even get a plate but it works just fine for them.
