You mean they took everybody’s stack (including the big denoms)?!?! Or just the 100s I hope (still had but more salvageable)
I assume they mean everyone’s stack including the big chips. Poor guys watching the cameras prolly had a stroke when they heard that over the radio. Security could def get an accurate count and fix it though.

Pink with purple (or blue?) spots 500k on the 3 spot set for the high roller. They look decent. And also might be oversized to 43mm…not 100% on that

And strangely they are playing the very unusual blinds of 100k/150k, not 75k/150k, while the 25k are still around.

Never shown a face shot so the side profile has to do for now

So the 5Ks are red with blue edgespots and the 500Ks are pink with purple edgespots?

That will never be confusing to anyone...

Wonder what chips and what the starting setup is for an event as huge as like, the colossus with a 40k starting stack.

Probably the 518 set…that’s what they using today for housewarming which is a 50k start stack and should be around 20k entries

Peach and petunia 43mm should’nt be even remotely close to Cherry/Royal red and Horizon blue. Not that 5ks and 500k would ever be in play together.

Here’s a pretty splashed pot pic Kornuth posted.

Took a start at cataloguing tonight for my future writeups. Made some wild swings and educated guesses on future usage.

Primary - 5V with two color edgespots

These are the primary chips used at most normal tournaments. Higher denominations have variations for when the set is being used in multiple events at once.

Overall I really like the sets I’ve seen here, but the set I played with yesterday in the 9am Seniors Deep Stack was problematic.

Beautiful, but they‘re all pastel and tinged with pink. We had several incidents where the 100s were confused with the 1Ks. Not good.

The photos are pretty accurate, you can see the true white on the WSOP & Gorilla Gaming logos. All the inlays are tinged with pink as well.

Interesting. Those aren't house molds. I don't know why they didn't just use a darker gray or black 100 in this set though.

It's just something about the color usage on the spots Although the edge spots are symmetrical, the 3 spots of one color ans 2 spots of another color makes it look wierd. Doesn't look quite orderly, and it feels a bit chaotic. I don't think anyone would mind the 5 spots if they were of a single color.

The reason the above 3 spotted chips look more pleasing is because it has single colored spots. To compare them to the 5v chips more accurately, you would have 2 spots of one color and 1 spot of another color. While technically also still symmetrical, they would still likely look pretty displeasing.

No issue at all with the 3 and 5 spotted chips that have one single edge spot colour.

The issue with the 5V chips above is that the eye orients based on the inlay. If the inlays were to be aligned on the "axis of symmetry," they'd look fine to most people I think. As they are, they just look "off."

Simple edge spots, but I like these chips. Heck, those T5000s would make a helluva frac in an RHC set, lol.

The 5V chips have bilateral symmetry (aka mirror symmetry) but do not have rotational symmetry.

As such, I do not approve.

Poker chip spots should have rotational symmetry.

Looks like the daily deepstacks have a few different RHC sets in play, first time I’ve seen this spot pattern set show up.

That’s a massive stack, looks like you made a nice run?
