Just joined in hopes of finding people that are looking to buy chips. I read the newbie stuff and thought this was the place to begin. I am not actually listing chips or showing them right now. What I am hoping to find is interested people (if there are any) that collect casino chips from places that no longer exist.

Reno has seen some casinos shut down. My father collected chips from various places for special event, cars, bikes, planes) over the years. He passed away and chips aren't my thing.

Whom, if anyone collects these items? Please message me back and I will get back with some detailed information. Thanks and be safe!

Oh yah…hi, and welcome. Not many folks buy poker chips. Most are traded for things like yarn…need yarn?

All the chips are from closed down Reno casinos. Hilton, Harrah's. Nothing from anywhere but Reno. Most are $5.00......a few $25.00. I believe all are event and year specific.

I also have a fair amount of Peppermill chips from one year of Hot August Nights. They are brand new in zip lock bags. That have NEVER been in play. I took them to the cage and even there they said to try and sell them as (1) they are new and (2) the Hot August Nights chips no longer are year specific. On these I know I can still get face value for each chip from the cage.
