My head hurts just watching this. Watch the hand starting at the 46ish minute mark. Guy cold shoves on a five bet shove with J 10 9 6.Just started watching the first two hands, what a fishbowl this is gonna be

I'm a little teapot,...(I'm pretty polarizing and not everyones cup of tea)
Wonderful!I'm a little teapot,
Short and stout,
Headed all-in
With two outs.
When I hit the river,
Hear me shout,
U-S-A U-S-A, had no doubt!
For a player of your immense talents. Why not?!Tough to justify a 3-4 hour drive for similar stakes
These are the best updates. Congrats!!!!Won $118 in the 5/5 before they called a new 2/2 so moved there
So, I'm asking not to criticize your play but for my own Omaha education... Why shove this hand pre in this spot?Playing 5/5 PLO with $10 rock
Button just lost a pot with Aces after flopping a set, to a gutshot hit twice. He has stradled to 20
Bunch of callers, he makes it $120, few callers to me, I rip my $485 in pre with
No one folds, we've got 4 players all-in plus a 5th that covers
I'm up against KQxx, QQ55, KKxx and unknown 4th hand, so should actually be an equity favorite
Board comes J33A7 and Kings win main (he only goes 1 time) and the pro who covers wins sidepot with QQ55

To me, it seems like this hand is well-connected, but at best it makes a lot of weak straights and flushes. It's probably an equity dog when you get one or two callers unless their hands specifically stomp on each other as they do here. Also, your games seem like no-foldem games, especially when multiple players have already shown interest, so you're likely not picking up the pot pre for what is effectively <50bb.
For me personally, I think it would be a learning experience to play a streamed session, then go back and be able to watch the session again. I'd get to watch myself play (something I've never done), plus I'd get to see hole cards for the table. You covering my travel costs and hourly while I drive?
I guess I was undervaluing your hand because, while well connected and double-suited, it's also only eight high. In the specific spot you're in (where your opponents are sharing most of the kings and queens), it's great. But against, say, one of these hands, I thought you would be a big dog.Because button is tilting, my hand is connected and double-suited and there's a chance I get some folds and can play a pot with dead money in it
And equities run pretty close preflop so I'm ok gambooling it up on the short-stack in that spot
Very solid Play. Dont question a geniusSo, I'm asking not to criticize your play but for my own Omaha education... Why shove this hand pre in this spot?

..just be honest and say you wanted to gamble a bit cause none of those make what you did the correct play. Sometimes people just like to have fun but lets not try and justify it like It was some hero wizard playBecause button is tilting, my hand is connected and double-suited and there's a chance I get some folds and can play a pot with dead money in it

for as smart as you think you are, this is incredibly dumb. 105% I am not the Mike guyThanks Mike, hope the 5/5 is treating you well

At the time you moved in there was still more players in the hand. It might have worked out to not be a huge mistake but Just cause it got heads up that time doesnt make it right. To me you dont have to justify. People like to gamble! Its a high variance game as it is. I just find it silly that as the pro you are that you would try and have an explanation other than you just wanted to gamble. Im no pro though so what would i know
The bet was $120. Some players had called that, a couple were only in for $20
My shoving for $485 could certainly narrow the field and get some dead money to play for
As it turned out, I wound up with 4 of us all-in and a 5th player that had us covered calling (we weren't headsup like you posted)
So I either get some folds and play against less hands with dead money, or I get it in with a hand that shouldn't be in rough shape equity-wise (and was actually a favorite given the hands I was against) and I have a shot to 5x my stack in one fell swoop.
Very solid Play. Dont question a genius
My mistake I just seen you post some hand vs hand %. I kinda gave up trying to figure it out. Its just a overall bad play imo. Anytime you jam hoping u get multiple callers and artificially inflating equity and then using that to justify a play is non sense
I like this terminology. “Artificially inflating equity”. He makes a great point. Who in the world gets all in 5 ways with 8 high and justifies it by saying “I had 28% equity blah blah” I’m in decent shape.
