I think I love it

I think the Scandia 1s are my new favorite chip!
I also thought I might prefer the pyramids over the outposts but now that they're here I think they look pretty good. I could always still just use the pyramids as $25 instead of .25 and then I could ease up on my search for them.

What do you all think of this lineup?
They're all great chips. One problem that I'm having with a set I'm working on is inlay shapes. If you want to get nitpicky, if you're using shaped inlays, you want them all different. The problem I'm having is that my ones and fives both have cog shaped inlays. You have quarters and twenties, both with scallop shaped inlays. It's a "problem" that I'll happily live with, because, like yours, my chips are awesome. They're just not quite perfect all together.

Better! Got a yellow to try? Arc solid would be nice too I’d wager
You pretty much have a Cali set with a yellow $5 it there’s a lot of competition for those

Any particular yellow fracs out there to look for? I have some BTP 1s I could throw out there to try and get some. I know anything yellow is hard to get!

Yea between edge spots and inlay shapes I dont see anyway around some compromise and I'm happy to do it because I do really like the way this set is going!

I’d grab a yellow solid and mill/label. Could even shape mill those for ya if wanted. Unless you are good with a hotstamp yellow frac then there are a few options

I like this one better, because of the extra color. The tan outpost frac is a little close to red for my tastes

I started this set wanting to build around the cajun cup 5s but now I'm wondering if they'll stay Haha

You think Arc Yellow is the way to go or just regular yellow? I dont know if I've ever even seen an Arc Yellow chip, just everyone asking if its arc yellow Haha

Do what you want, obviously. But usually when people put together mixed sets, they're putting together chips as they are. Usually when people relabel chips, they're either relabeling everything to semi-customs, or they're reabeling one denom to match the others. Your plan seems a little crazy to me.
Lol you are correct. But some of use are little crazy. So he's not the only one.

Hahahah I was wondering who that was. And no sorry. No yellow 5s up for grabs atm. I think a yellow frac knocks this out of the park seriously

Good news, Hot Stamp Yellow Fracs should be here tomorrow. I really like them so fingers crossed they work. In the meantime i've been thinking I would expand this set to maybe a rack of $100s and $500s. It seems like white 100s are hard to find I would consider relabeling ES $1s BUT would prefer to find something that was originally a 100 or 500 chip in keeping with the set. Anyone have any thoughts or suggestions on what to use for 100s and 500s?

Empress Joliet $500 (purple 8v I think) is a strong contender for the 500 slot right now

Or perhaps one of the Gardena chips

I kinda think Garden 100 and Joliet 500 might be a nice color and spot progression from what I have so far, could be terribly wrong though

Is anyone aware of any shaped inlay $100s in a color other than black?

A white cog shaped $100 would be perfect

$500s look like they will be pretty easy to find just expensive! It will be difficult to not want to use PCA $500s

Amazing. Frac thru 5 is perfect. HP 20 looks good if you just love that chip. I think a shaped green 25 would be the nuts here though. Then a black 100.

White shaped 100 won’t be easy

I'm a pretty big fan of 20 over 25 and that HP20 has to be one of my favorites and it would be a very rare occasion that I would break out 100 and 500 chips. So if theres anything out there with a shaped inlay in any color other than black I think I'd give it a shot first. I realize getting rid of the black 20 would make it much easier though.

I'm kinda liking this minus the 25 and 5 having the same spot pattern!

Edit: Here is what I have on hand, and I dont think I'm a big fan of the red-green-black progression. I think red-black-white would balance it out better.

Edit edit: FOUND MY 100! I'm going to have to try these if I can find them

While I'm still looking for shaped inlay stuff I've started working on a solid inlay set. So far I have giraffe 50s and some flamingo solids on the way.

Are there any solid inlaid 5s or 20s out there. I know murdering some solids is probably the easiest route but if there is anything from a casino I would prefer that

Still on the hunt for a $100 and $500 to use. I got a couple different chips I like dont think they'll work for this set. I think the AS works better color wise than the casablanca but not feeling the edge spots. I think it would be sick with a white $100 and brown $500 if I could get the spots and inlays right.

Anyways, thoughts/suggestions?
