Waiting List
Considering purchasing some newer chips, step up from ye ol' standard plastic suit chips, and I've stumbled into Super Diamonds as a budget but purportedly OK chip. Additionally, I feel like I've seen a number of confusing conversations about which Super Diamonds might be intended, from hot-stamping, to old Paulson clays, to super cheapo plastic deals. There are also a couple different weights listed for these chips, and I'm not precisely sure of either how accurate I should expect whatever site I might be ordering from to be, or which version of the particular chip I might be looking at.
I know, everyone always says samples, but if I'm considering just spending something like 40-50 bucks on these, paying to have a sample sent of some super cheap chips just seems silly.
A couple of links, just so you know what I'm looking at. There does seem to be some difference in the available colors, so I don't know if that suggests what version the chips might be either.

http://www.pokerchipmania.com/clay-poker-chips/super-diamond-poker-chips/ - listed as 9g
I realize this isn't for a whole lot of money, so it's not exactly a big issue, but I got the feeling that there was a lot going on w/ the super diamonds that I just wasn't aware of. A simple primer would be greatly appreciated.
