I like to search for chips on online estate auction sales. Always a gamble because they aren’t chippers and don’t take take pictures for chippers.

My last two finds were amazing. Over 1200 vintage ASM/CPC chips.

Today I got a zonked to use an old Let’s Make a Deal term. Only one pic and it wasn’t very good, even when I enlarged it couldn’t tell what it was. Was it a clay diamond mold or the cheap plastic diamond chips.

Well it was the cheap plastic diamonds and POKER mold chips. Almost 1400 of them. ‍

But at least I got 13 decent racks out of the deal. Luckily the cost of the auction was only slightly over the cost of what the racks would have been. Oh well.

Also a master class in how not to ship.
