What you’re saying makes sense for certain patterns that don’t mirror each other when flipped. For these two chips it doesn’t matter where the silver or yellow spot is placed because in one orientation it will appear left right and if you flip the chip over it will appear right left.

Yeah looks like it’s just a dumb day thing. You’re definitely right about it and to be honest that just makes the whole thing worse. I always thought there was a Paulson policy to not make chips that are the same. Guess they threw that out of the window for this order.
 
I kinda want a $100 before it gets pulled.

I wish I could be a fly on the wall for the meeting at Ceasars this week. Certainly is going to be a stressful one for some VP’s and execs figuring out the plan for this one. I’m still floored by the fact that this made it out to the floor. Like so many people had to check this off. It had to have many revisions and checks from people at all levels. I think the even funnier part is that the TCR sale happened like a month ago and I’m near 100% certain there are casinos monitoring this site.

According to some sources, the Empress Star secondary tournament chips were so close to the WSOP secondaries, that GPI reprinted the entire set for free.

That's an entire set for one of the worlds largest tournaments. I seriously doubt that execs are going to sweat much. They simply need to ask floor people and the cage to check for excessive wear on hundos until the new ones can be made.
 
I believe the jumers $100 are secondaries, so should show equal wear, one would assume. Still would love to see the two chips side by side and dirty stacked.

After talking to Rufus regarding the mystery bounty, he advised me to spread that $1600 BI money over the rest of the week.

We decided to play the Super Sunday at Orleans. It started at 11 AM and was $200 with $100 add on/rebuy for 20k in chips. Almost 220 entries and 11k for first.

Rufus got rivered pretty early and went to the cash table. I had a slow start but after a first difficult hour things improved and I was running good and playing well.

It went on and on and on…made it to the final table with a good stack. 3 pro’s and 3 rec players left at the end and blinds kept on rising. We all had similar stacks and when we where all left with 10 - 18 big blinds, we discussed a chop. After almost 16h we didn’t want it to end in a lucky shove fest.

ICM numbers showed a payout between $4300 and $5800 for all players. I got a $5230 payout :)

Good times in Vegas…more coming but need sleep. I skipped sleeping Saturday night, last night with Rufus and Mikey and was back in the hotel on Monday morning 4 am. I’m way below 20h of sleep since I arrived on Wednesday. Time to take it easy for the coming days

Jumer's $100s were secondaries. I wanted to try and see if someone had a picture of them side by side to really see the comparison.
 
Another update for my PCF friends.

No cool foodies pics from me (Earl of Sandwich, In&Out, … and the likes are all I need).
After Mike and Rufus left..I have been grinding like there is no tomorrow.
Yesterday I hooked up with @djmarc at HS poker room and after that I played 2/3 for a few hours and ran my stack up to 1500.
Went to Bellagio to take a shot at the 5/10 game that ended when villain cracked my AA with a set 10’s for a 12K pot…all went in (preflop)

Damn…had to catch my breath after that one.
What was unbelievable was that I saw that guy 45 min later in the bar.
We started talking about the hand and he told me he had another big pot he took down just after he busted me.
I told him straight up that I was taking a shot at higher stakes and I was a bit out of my water.
Out of the blue he asked my how much my buy-in was, I said 1500 and then he gave 2 yellow chips…keep grinding it and happy holidays he said. He ordered us another drink and left short after.

Vegas can be a crazy place…and I’m up 7k incl all my expenses.
Good times

Last night at Vegas, I just busted the freeroll at HS (another $100 cash) and ready to grab some dinner. Going to try another run at the 2/3 tonight and back to Bellagio or Wynn if I can hit that 1500 again (3 times the max buyin for that game).)

Tomorrow a nice breakfast, packing the bags and some shopping for the kids and wifey, plain leaves at 16.30h and I have a late checkout fixed.

I just love Vegas, could live here for sure…but until the kids are out of the house I’m happy with 1 or 2 weeks a year.

Last update from Vegas… :(

Back at my room after the last night and since it was my last…I wanted to do something special.
Took the monorail to Sahara and hit most casino’s on the way back that I was not able to visit yet.

I visited

Westgate: fantastic sportbook but poker room sucked

Sahara: love the place, went with Mike in September…great vibe/atmosphere but no poker tables running

Circus circus: good lord, might as well stay home with the three kids, not a place for me and looks old too

Ressorts World: beautiful and very modern, big poker room with plenty of action…great music too

Encore & Wynn: stunning…poker room was packed even after WPT but many good players

Palazzo & Venetian: already visited these in September but loved seeing Little Italy in Vegas again

Bellagio: Rufus, Marc and I already visited the conservatory….always amazing to see. Poker room is the softest I played in

After that 4h walk, I was down for some In&Out, power nap and some poker.
Horseshoe was full with massive list, the high hand bonus is running from 12 to 12 so in between the place is packed with OMC players only playing premium hands for the bonus..no value here.

Some shut eye then, woke up at 1 AM and couldn’t get a spot at HS so went down to Bellagio and got in the 1/3 game.
Got to 700 but then table broke..both the 2/3 and 5/10 had massive stacks at the table so at 6 I played my last hand.

Time to pack the bags, shower, breakfast and short trip to Spinettis….then airport and back to Belgium.
Has been an awsome week and the cards were with me…the Orleans score boosted my confidence and next time I’m ready to play bigger games and tournies.

A good thing I’m flying direct from Phoenix to London…East & Central looks horrible.
I need to be home before Christmas and if I would be stuck, i would prefer Vegas ;)

There is a strike going on in London HT so I will prolly be shafted there…I will keep the travel report going until I’m back home.

If you can get your bags, see about traveling to Gatwick from LHR and fly out of there. Good luck.
