Always loved pirates as a kid (Hook, the book the Buccaneers, etc) - and in my library/office now I have a painting hung of a pirate ship. Wanted to do a set that felt like a fantasy casino in the Caribbean (Port Royal being the pirate city of the 17th century).

Breakdown (and inspiration):

  • 25¢ - 260 (Piece of Gold)
  • $1 - 320 (Dark seas)
  • $5 - 420 (Blood)

  • $500 - 80 (Jewel)
+Quite a few extras. Way more than I need, but wanted to have massive flexibility and longevity.

The case/treasure chest was also made by @alecnetwoodworks (amazing job- holds 1200), and love the fact that the wood was reclaimed from an old house in Pittsburgh (home of the pirates).

I know I am late to the party, but wow these are great. Very well done. Inlay well executed and nice clay choices without the use of crazy/expensive spot patterns. And I love a shaped inlay.

Was searching for EWING sets to see how they came out of CPC as I kind of have that itch again... Hopefully CPC gets up and running and they come out as great as they did here.
 
I am sure I could guess, but do you have color breakdown for all the chips/spots anywhere?

Base -  Yellow
Spots - Canary, Lt. Chocolate

$1 (3A12, Tri-Moon rotated)
Base - Dk. Blue
Spots - Light Blue, Blue, Imperial Blue

$5 (4A12, Hub)
Base - Red
Spots - Charcoal, Maroon

$25 (6A14, Scallop)
Base - Green
Spots - Dk. Green, Butterscotch

Base - Black
Spots - Yellow, Chocolate, Canary

Adding photos of custom accessories now that cut cards are in.

I believe I mentioned at one point before, maybe not, but the card backs (first broken arrow professional run) were also designed with this set in mind - see nautical theme, crossbones in border, colors, etc.

Bad Ass all the way around. The wooden chest/case is awesome!

Ha, thanks! Every time it gets bumped it also reminds me I have them.. and then I proceed down to my game room to play with a few stacks. :ROFL: :ROFLMAO:

But appreciate the comments! Still have yet to actually get these into play, someday soon.
