just sucks spending a bunch to clean like 2,000 chips and prob never use it again I dont have the funds most do to buy crazy amounts of chips I might just say F it keep like 500 for myself and sell the rest on fee bay
Thanks for all the great answers in this thread, especially this one. I don't have enough dirty chips yet to justify an ultrasonic, so I'm going to try this method on some of my chips.I’ve soaked white chips (1 or 2 barrels at a time) in a bucket with a small scoop of Oxiclean, a squirt or 2 of dishwashing liquid and 1/2 gallon of warm water. Really important is make sure all the grains of oxyclean have dissolved before putting in the chips.
Soak for 15-20 minutes max. Scrub with a natural fiber nail brush. Caution on chips other than white, oxyclean tends to fade the colors slightly, but will return with a small wipe of a cloth that has some mineral oil.
However, I have cleaned a few hundred at a time this way, and it is slow going...scrubbing each side of every chip for 5-10 seconds then grabbing a bunch and scrubbing the edges. Rinse well.
However, I cannot imagine doing this process with thousands of chips.
Oxi on Scrowns... no problem. Oxi on Lcrowns, big problem. We use oxi clean on TRKs and hot stamps. No issues *shrugs*
Really? Havent had any issue. What occurs?Oxi on Scrowns... no problem. Oxi on Lcrowns, big problem.
