If we can make the colors work with the logo for a 5k I guess we can do it. But I wouldn't want to make something that didn't exist. That's just me though

Castle became Marina at some point in the 80s or 90s. The one I did forget was Worlds Fair. He owned that one too but that was one of the ones torn down. Which is what I believe will be the fate of the closed Plaza

I wouldn't doubt that there was a 5K chip at some point. Shame I never paid attention when the place was open to remember. If it had only closed a month or two ago I would have paid attention to dealer chip trays to try to notice one.

I can promise you it will not because once I open for orders it will only be open for a very short time. I'm talking 10 days maximum. I think that's more than enough time based on how many people are interested. This will not turn into the other order where it has been going on for four months. In reality I only see about 20-30 orders tops being placed for this based on interest

lol. I'm guessing you have never run a complex group buy before. First thing to learn is not to make promises you cannot keep.

These things take time, if you want it done right. You will also find that many time-related things are totally beyond your control.

100% this. As for getting things done right, the original BW GB had months and months of time of design tweaks, color samples, color changes, and prototypes back and forth between SunFly. Sure you can put a cap on ordering time, and the doors are now open with SunFly so communication should be faster than usual, but you shouldn't rush the entire process either.

Purely speculation on my part, but these Taj chips wouldn't have the same gray cloud hovering over them like the last hybrid group-buy for a few reasons.

I would want this to go quicker mostly because I wouldn't want to run into legal issues. Granted, the casino is closed and technically no longer exists, but I'd rather try to avoid problems as best as possible.

I don't see this getting very complex in terms of ordering. Based on this thread we are probably looking at 30 orders max. And I already have someone working on the artwork so hopefully that saves time. Plus like it's been mentioned in this thread, SF does move quickly

Honestly though, if you had the ability to read through the hundreds of pages from the first BW go-around, there were months of color decisions to get them right. And then the wait for prototypes from China every time. Lotta work.

I think that's then problem with the iron banks. Too many color tweaks. I think our designer is going to get it right and it will be done quickly. That's my hope anyway.

It's not so much the color of the design, but how the color comes out when printed on the chip. To expedite this process you can have the designer of the BW GB use the same color palette as the final BW set and just reuse the colors from there, but if you're going from scratch the designer has no control over the colors at print time.

Well you could go the honorable way I guess and wright to the Prez to get permission to use the logo and text name/font. Hell if we were able to get permission to use all those GOT images and names, surely you could get permission to use some shitty little spire thingy right?
