How long will it take for human language to "evolve" so we only communicate with memes?

I'm kinda there now.

Kinda interesting to think about the evolution of communication. We went from using hieroglyphs on cave walls to complex written language. Now in the age of technology we forego written communication and have reverted back to emoticons and memes which are essentially modern hieroglyphs.

Can you imagine some future civilization trying to piece together our way of life through memes and emojis like archaeologists would with hieroglyphics. That is disappointing :(

It’s slightly less objectionable than the alternative - misspellings, bad grammar, texty abbreviations . . .
Interesting that you object to bad grammar then use a word that doesn’t exist in your sentence. :ROFLMAO:
