There have been other manufacturers over the years that produced similar clay chips for the home market, but most have gone the way that Dix will no doubt go. TRK produced what to my eye are the most amazing chips, but Dennis retired and rather than let someone else run the biz, he opted to shut down. He ultimately sold some of his color formulas to BCC. BCC produced amazeballs custom chips to rival Paulson, when their QC was up to snuff (towards the end they were almost phoning it in, tbh), but they were bought out and shut down by Paulson. BCC also had a 5000 chip minimum order, which many of us balked at (which, in hindsight, was stupid).
CPC is the only real survivor in the space.
