It’s not a chip issue @PepperPaul we are too far down that path for me to care. If you wanted to go through everything in detail, you had ten days from the deadline you established and numerous chances. You chose not to and to ignore me. I was polite and gracious. I got more stern with respond or else over those thirteen days. 3 days you told me, plus the ten I added on to give ample time. FWIW, you told me it was business, not a family member or I’d have given even more time. You established the rules and I enforced them. The end. My goal isn’t to collect a nickel at this point. My goal is to send a message to all sellers on PCF that’s it’s not ok to simply ghost someone after a sale. Ever. If this public thread makes one single person decide to go ahead and respond, my goal has been served. I tried to keep this private. Repeatedly. If you tell someone “do this or else”, eventually you are forced to do the or else, even if you don’t actually want to. I’m flashing a time I told my son repeatedly that if he didn’t straighten up, we’d leave the theme park and go home. It was a lovely day, the tickets were paid for, we’d just dealt with parking, etc. I didn’t want to go home. But, I made the threat. He ignored me. I hated like hell to do it, but we went home. I was punished as much as he was. This is the same. I’m not winning shit by doing this. But, I’m sending a message that it’s not ok to acknowledge there’s a problem and then ghost someone indefinitely.

You tell me you weren’t on PCF all this time and I’ll eat my shoe. (It shows you were logged on several times, btw. One of the guys referenced your appearance in this thread). All you had to say was “family emergency, I’m not ignoring you” and I’m quiet as a church mouse.

I doubt very seriously your family is more important to you than I am to my wife. My point was life goes on, as do our responsibilities. While I’m laid up on morphine, she did her business on her phone by my bedside. You apparently had your mema at a facility with no wireless and no phone service. Except those documented times you logged on and ignored me. And then stared lovingly at her while she was snoozing most of the day.

You did admit you were wrong to ghost me. That’s it. The end. I’m satisfied. I wish it hadn’t had to come to this to get a response.

Then much later in the thread you said you’ll end up with 220-240 chips that “I’ll be proud to felt.” What process did you use to change 3 1/2 racks that, on average according to you, looked like those 5 chips above, to into 2 1/2 racks you would be proud to felt? You’re a miracle worker!

POST PICS OF THE CHIPS AS YOU RECEIVED THEM. You won’t because you can’t, because the chips I posted pics of are the chips I sent.

There’s no way if they were in as bad of condition as you’re claiming, you didn’t take picks of the whole lot. There’s a reason you didn’t post pics of the whole lot in the OP. Prove me wrong.
 
I think the issue is that they went thru someone else and then thru him and there wern't any photos taken.

He received the chips after they were drilled, he wouldn’t take pics of the terrible condition when he received them after being drilled?

Still doesn’t explain how they went from horrible scam chips to chips he’ll be proud to felt. You can’t turn a turd into a diamond no matter how much you polish it.

This is a HUGE point. Was @PepperPaul wrong in not responding to earlier attempts to resolve this prior to @Jers28 going public? Absolutely, and he has admitted such. Is it possible that life events can cause participation in a hobby forum to take a back seat for several weeks? I think most of us would agree that this could happen.

The biggest issue I see at this point in this controversy is the sparseness of visual evidence of the accusations being leveled. It's almost impossible for me to imagine that @Jers28 did not take MANY PHOTOS of these "shitty" chips when he received them. Not just a random small handful of badly damaged chips. Now that we have come this far, and have heard both sides of the story, these pics need to be posted so that the forum can decide. A serious accusation was made, and as long as @PepperPaul was silent, it looked bad for him. Now that he has given another side to the story, it's on @Jers28 to backup his claims.

If I got bad chips I wouldnt take photos of them to be honest, I'd know they're bad and taking photos of that won't change it, and I'd be too mad to take photos. But that might just be me.

With that being said maybe the miller can weigh in on if he thinks the chips were bad when he milled em. They'd be pretty unbiases right?

Sorry, this makes no sense. You get a batch of chips that are not in the condition you expected them to be in, and you immediately contact the seller to let them know you're not happy, but you don't take any pics to back up your claim, and to compare to the pics that seller sent or posted? Sorry, no way. I don't believe you, and I wouldn't believe it if the buyer stated the same.

I mean, he still has the chips. It’s not like he threw them in the trash. Shitty chips will stay shitty. Take a pic of the whole lot now. Should still be shitty right? Or he cleaned them and somehow now he’s proud to felt them when he only felts pristine chips?

I’ve attached a screenshot of an auction for chips I ran here back in April I think. Actually shitty chips, with pics and description that stated as such. I don’t care what you do to those chips, they can look better, but never be brought back to look amazing. They’re not crisp, and no amount of work is going to make them crispy and beautiful looking. How did he get the green chips I shipped him to the point he’s proud to felt them, when he basically said they all looked like dog shit?

Shouldn’t Jers need to provide some proof if he’s going to call me a scammer?

I would for sure take photos and ask the seller what's up with the description vs the chips I got.

Yeah if 240 out of the 340 (339) were good then it sounds like you explained the situation before hand accurately, as one rack being bad.

My guess is that after they were milled they were all boxed mixing the good with the bad. Maybe @Jers28 forgot that he bought a bad rack and saw them all together and assumed the worst.

At least thats my “everyone acts in good faith” explanation.
