I’ve been waiting for some deals on FB for office chairs and I finally found it.

Some club in a city 50mins away abandoned this sweet setup of a poker room and so the owner is selling their stuff. (They stiffed him on rent too)

Going to pick up tomorrow. Super duper pumped….like ultimate warrior pumped.

Price : $700 for 9 chairs.

Rent of a cube truck : $120

Still a GREAT deal! Just got back from trying them out. It’s a steal.

I got these suckers home this morning! 9 chairs in total, but they are too wide for 9, so it’ll be 8 of them at my main table. Got the 9th off to the side out of the photo, is my smaller TChan table.

I’m absolutely thrilled!! Ironically, the truck I rented, blew a tranny oil cooler, 5 mins from home. I did a 100KM rountrip, and with 5KM to go, truck stopped dead. My day went to shit. Was supposed to be at a poker game at noon, and had to cancel.

So had to deal with some shit, getting them offloaded with the truck now on a flatbed tow truck! LMFAO! It was hard work but the tow truck driver was easy to befriend, invited him to join my club, guy lives down the street (total coincidence), and he helped me offload the chairs on to my front lawn. So there ended up being blood and sweat to get these things into my home from the front entrance (tow truck didn’t want to use my back alley)

Sometimes the armrests come off and will give you more room!

it’s been tough to land a game, but I’ll give the chairs a test run this weekend. Managed to get a small 6 man crew for a Saturday day game!

I am now fully aware of just how lucky I am to have met all you local PCFers - there really is no shortage of games on really nice tables (and now chairs!) with really nice chips.
Previous commitment to another game Saturday else I would be there for sure. Good luck buddy. (I’m still sucking at tourneys, but subsidizing with cash game success )

I hear ya. I haven’t cashed in a tournament for a couple of years. Cash game results are a different planet. (Although I got worked at Cascades the other day…set over set twice, and I was under both times…to the same annoying blabber mouth player…lost $540 in those endeavors)

I plan to run cash games for 90% of the way. I don’t have enough crew for tourneys and it’s easier to get games. I’ll still run a tourney here and there

The chairs were fantastic! Loved by all the players. Had a 7 man cash game today! I also had a player who is overweight by some margin and the chair was unaffected! I’m over the moon for them! Was well worth the cost.
