Not that anyone asked but figured I'd post a follow up!

I joined this sub about 6 weeks back looking for advice on purchasing poker chips. I was warned to hide my wallet and rightfully so haha... ended up spending a bit more than anticipated but really happy with how my setup turned out:
  • Chips- Ordered 400 AC hot stamp from CPC
  • Table- Went with the 8 person pub table from Gorilla Gaming with reinforced "Gorilla legs" (pic attached)
  • Chairs- I really liked the Gasser chairs that people recommended on here. Since I live in Cleveland and couldn't find any online, I reached out to the Gasser factory located in Youngstown, OH. Turns out they recently bought back chairs from Seneca Casino in Niagara. (pics and info attached)
    • They are in really great shape, aside from some gum I found stuck to the bottom of a few. The attached pricing asks ~$90/chair. I offered $500 cash to pick up 8 myself and they agreed. Maybe something to look into if you're willing to make the drive.
    • I also really liked some chairs I came across on Facebook (last pic attached) but obviously went with the Gassers. The seller seemed flexible on pricing as well.
Anyways, my friends were impressed with my setup, too. In fact I ended up winning the first game! Just gotta be careful to not win too often or they'll stop showing up ;).

Looks great. I like the fact that the table is more round instead of thinner and longer, better playability that way.

You seem to have checked all the boxes. Nice work! Now, it's time for the accessories!

Edit: corrected a missed word.

If yours have the cardboard bottoms, I have some plastic covers that would fit yours. Makes them stack a bit nicer and less chance to bang up the leather. See this thread.

I ended up ordering the wrong size covers at first, turns out I had the 17.5" wide chairs. Happy to send along for whatever shipping costs.

I just double checked and all mine came equipped with the plastic bottom, but thank you very much for the offer! Much appreciated

Lol oh no! What accessories are you referring to?! Gotta splurge on those now

I agree! The 10 person, 96" table was a bit large for what I had in mind. Plus I don't have 9 friends, only 7 lol

Not bad on the chairs - I got my hands on 10 of the other style chair they replaced at Seneca Niagara casino.

Man very nice, I love the chairs. We always used cheap metal folding chairs
