Excuse me , who are you to say that ? I’m trying to solve here something so this thread can be closed . Mind your own business

If you have other questions about payment terms then address them before dibs.
If you have any questions you will miss out on the sale.

Bad transactions can be solved . Thank u

FWIW two weeks is a very long time to close a deal that should have been done in a day on this forum. Honestly, it’s best at this point to listen to what people are telling you about how transactions are conducted on this forum and learn from the experience. If it’s an honest mistake of not understanding how people interact and do deals here then you should fess up to that, learn, and try and build trust moving forward. So far it doesn’t look like you are headed in that direction and this deal is probably lost.

GLWS @Eriks hopefully there are still some interested buyers for you who were not lost because of this.

As a seller (or buyer), once trust is gone from the equation, I find it is best to just wash hands and move on.

I personally wouldn't feel comfortable dealing further with somebody I no longer trusted; there are too many additional ways he/she could try to screw me over (claiming non-delivery, damaged goods, incomplete package, etc.). It's just not worth the potential headaches, from either direction.

Plus I tend to hold a pretty mean grudge. :)

I’m just waiting on his simple yes and then we can solve this , I still want to do that because I want that set and he lost 2 buyers because of me as he said so I can fix that by making the PayPal and leave it at that . I just hope he gives in , it will be a win win for both of us . Because I don’t want to be portrayed this way , I’m a new chipper who didn’t know what he want at first and made mistakes with my communication.

No, sorry. Like I said, I’m done. Asshat clause applies

E

it’s all good , this is just you’re frustration because you still have that set and can’t find a buyer . I intended to make payment even when u first gave me poor feedback . You act like the buyer and if I where the seller , you have the chips with you that’s a fact . If I did want to scam or not is not a FACT . It’s your thought , and I politely asked if I can still buy that set . You said ok fine , we where communicating 2 days ago about me waiting on paycheck to make the PayPal you said ok fine . You just ruined that as well , nicely done . Have fun making me loook bad , it also says something about you .

I call BS... . You did the same with me.
Don't walk but run away from this guy.

Thanks at @Eriks 4 warning me... I paid that forward too @Barberp

Funnily enough I wanted to buy your set as I thought it would just about be sufficient for the cash game I host. However, you said the sale was already pending so I started looking at other options and ended up going down a Paulson rabbit hole.

Bought two racks of new RHCs (and some BTPs) before quickly being told they suck and I should get THCs, so I have since bought a few racks of Aurora and Empress star and today I find out they also suck as they are not leaded. So now I find myself with no perfect chips after spending a reasonable amount trying to get them, something I didn’t even know about until recently and if Poppin hasn’t messed you around I probably would have been satisfied with the Matsuis and not done any more research into the topic.
Looks like he cost you a helluva lot more than he cost me. Welcome to the chip sickness though :)

Hi @Eriks.

I'm so sorry to hear this story. I was the other possible buyer of this fantastic set of matsuis. For only one or two days I finally bought a also wonderful HSI rack of $25.

I hope the best for you and the good chipers in this forum!

Carlos.

Thank you Carlos! I’m sure you will enjoy your newly aquired Paulsons, those HSI $25s truly look stunning!

Merry christmas and I hope you and everyone else have a great chippin’ year 2021!

I'm in astonishment as to how polite everyone here is. Growing up in "gamer culture" through various competetive online games and browsing their respective forums, I've never encountered a group of people who are as polite as the chippers are. I like it.

That beeing said:
I say, screw that guy and thank you to the whistleblowers. Noone wants to be jerked around for weeks when several hundred $ are at stake.
The posts @Poppin92 left in this thread, not aknowledging any wrongdoing or understanding as to why his behavior is not acceptable is the nail in the coffin for me.

Keep beeing awesome PCF, a few bad apples do not spoil this particular barrel!

Holy shit, it’s the same guy in these other stories, too? Goodness. Pretty clear to me what’s going on

Thanks for making the thread OP
There are more stories, but they have been relayed to me in PMs and as such I’ll leave it up to those members if they want to share publicly.

Update: @Poppin92 pleaded with me to reconsider once again and sell him the set. I decided to oblige because of what day today is. He has now sent the money through paypal and thus has made good on the deal. I thank him for that and urge him to learn from this and make the next transaction he has run a lot more smoothly.

@BGinGA raised some very good points about how the problems may not end with payment being made. This is why I sent him the following PM before accepting. I post this here now in case there are more trouble later down the road:

”Because it’s christmas: Make the paypal transfer within the next half hour upon seeing this message and you’ve got yourself a deal. Then, once I drop off the package on monday I release all responsibility over to you. In the unlikely event it gets lost I will of course file a claim with the post office but I will not in any way reimburse ANY claim that you might have aimed directly at me without overwhelming proof (I decide when that criteria is met). The chips are perfectly fine and I pack like a champion so I fully expect the chips will stay fine during the journey. Those are my terms. If you accept, go ahead and transfer. Otherwise this ends here”.

Dude, you are a certifiable saint. Call the Vatican and get this guy his halo.

Hi , thank you for the support and understanding. Listen I told Eriks my behavior was not on point BUT I didn’t scam him nor intended and he did act like I did . I’m a new chipper and just where too enthousiast about it , that’s where I made my mistake and I did indeed learned . But there a two sides of every story and I also saw that he still talked to me like I was a scammer and that felt humiliating . And still is , it’s good tho no problem . GLWS
We also had a weird exchange, when you say you want to buy something that is posted for sale you should really have the money to make the payment. It also felt like you were wanting me to ship before you made the payment.

I usually don’t like these call out threads, but it is pretty clear there was a pattern here that didn’t rise to the level of negative reviews but people should be aware of or needs to be addressed. Thanks for posting @Eriks !

This wasn’t my intention but then again my behaviors wasn’t good . I’m hoping when me and Eriks solved this today by him giving me that opportunity that this thread will water down and be forgotten with time and forgiven . We all make mistakes , and I’m just happen to made a big mistake but I did the right thing buying that set from Eriks and just hoping now to get this over with .
Happy holidays

No, you made plenty of mistakes and chose to correct one...what about those other 'sales'... ?

With me you did the same...and after the payment wasn't received after 3 days I gave you another chance.
When that deadline was almost gone....you sent me a PM that my price was not fair and that you demanded a lower price since I bought them cheaper.
Only thing was that I own that rack for a long time (years) so I was for sure not flipping them AND you compaire prices on casino used vs my uncirculated rack.
