Expanding on that logic... You could hit the poker tables on the boat and fund the cost of internet access... Or the chips for that matter.

One of my fondest poker memories was a seven day pacific cruise shared with several dozen high roller blackjack players on a comped trip. They didn't like the sorry treatment they got at the blackjack tables and decided to play poker instead. When you always bet hundreds of dollars per black jack hand , 2-5 no limit seems a little tame.

Every night I'd play a few hours and roll back into the room with another nice win. By the end of the trip, I paid for everything - even my wife's spa bill. I was up something like $6,500 even in the face of a $15 max per hand rake.

Woo hoo! Think of all the chips you could buy after an ELEVEN day trip!!!

Thanks for the offer, but I haven't seen anything there yet that I'm particularly interested in. I'm sure there will be some, but ignorance is bliss.

It's not like I actually need any more chips, and Danny has gotten enough of my money over the years already... :cool:

Ah, true enough, but one of the primary motivations for the cruise -- our first ever -- is to get my workaholic wife away from the Internet and prepare her for her upcoming retirement. So we're not bringing anything but one ipad and two Kindles. Cold turkey, no Internet at all, unless we stumble into free Internet ashore somewhere...

Besides, my chip motivation is that this is a better time to sell than to buy...when we get home. And the Treasures are growing on me more and more as my keeper non-CIC cash set. Might even sell a honkin' big set of Vineyards, including those twenty $500s I picked up a few years back...

Guess it depends on what you called dibs on. I called dibs on the outpost chips. And got it. As far as I know only one other person showed interest in them, and they only wanted a few select chip.
 
Outposts we're going to be sold, but Danny had a price he would take, and no one else expressed any interest.
 
ok i will be rude and ask.....wanna give a hint on the sold price for future outpost value...??? mine might be on the block within the year maybe, if it was crazy high....:cautious:

someone please tell me he doesnt have any PCR denoms or Fitzgerald Reno or Vegas chips on the block:unsure:

You can take it up with Weckedy. There aren't any PCR denoms or any thing you asked for. It looks like all the sets are now posted.

thanks...my wallet luv you long time...it is running around like it hit the powerball since it knows i wont be pulling any cash out of the pockets for these buys :LOL: :laugh:

All the chips are packed up and hitting the mail today. Danny is coming in from the boonies and we're going to meet in a field with our cars about 50 yards away from each other and flash the headlights. (To let each other know its on)

Or...

He's going to come over to my house and drop off chips and pick up a check.
