I wanted a Casino Royale without braking the wallet, so I buyed a Bullet Cards "CORRADO" set plus 50 casino royale chips.
You don't see a complete picture of the stack because I am still waiting for some pieces, meanwhile, here are some images of the low stakes + high stakes (if you remember there was a chip change throughout the film)
I added a comparison image between my set and the real one.
I also have some blue and 'almost red' plaques.
I'll send more photos when the suitcase is complete.

PS: note the difference between the pink and black hand polished ones with my silicon based experimental tecnique, and the blue ones still waiting the process).

Got them awhile ago as a present for my Birthday. Never played. My opinion: Just cheap 14g metal-slugged plastic Chips.

//Edit:
but if you like them that’s great of course!

true, but it's the budget and the fact that I have Bond set without breaking the bank.
Also, I rectified the edges and tried an experimental silicone grease treatment... The result is outstanding.
Then of course, the touching and clicking experience is cheap... But the look is amazing.

True! Sorry, thought it was something like a Review, but i just completely missed the point here.
I can edit my post if you want.

Could you expand more on your experiment? I got some cheap plastic chips I wanna improve, so any advice would be nice. All I've done so far is polishing the edges with a cloth to make it smoother.

"2000 grit sand paper"
Thats the best advice you got, i guess.

sand paper will do the job, but stickers are at risk.
My method is better with new chips.
You mineral oil them using a lot of pressure. After doing that you will understand if the chip is dirty or aged (and if it's aged, I don't think my method will do much difference).
Then you alchool clean them.
Then you cover them with a thin layer of silicone oil or grease, and let them dry a long time (one night at least).
You remove the silicone in excess.
Pretty bainful, but the result is very good, and lasting.

the purpose was to have red and blue plaques with trhe blue having more value (like in the film).
Then of course, I am buying more pieces. I will need a 500 pieces suitcase soon.

I decided to by two 300 pieces suitcase for my bond chips.
This is the look of the finished 'low stakes bondesque' set. According to 'canon' the values in this suicase are 5$, 25$, 100$.
I am still deciding the background colors for suitcase #2, with the famous pink and black chips used for the final hands.

Moving forward with the unfinished high stakes suitcase project (the one on the right). I am still missing 50X100.000 chips, and I don't like the night sky cover.
I guess the blue is fine with the high stakes chips. I will definetly keep the dark blue tone for the second suitcase, but I will search for something different that the night sky you see in the photo.

Noooo! Please don’t waste your many on these cheap Chips :D

But...it's not Bondesque unless you break the bank.

I know, but I am WAAAAAY more into colors and design rather than touch, weight and sound.
I will now swear against the gods of chips in heaven, but I don't even like the classic paulson's design with the usual 'drops' of colors on the edges.

I am not sure if Casino Royale's design predates the film or was purpose made for the film, but Casino Royale's chips look like they have been created on purpose to look gorgeous on camera, and they do. Also, the BULLETCARDS stickers look waaaay better than the white original ones (not to mention the cost).
On the pink chips in particular, the white labels look absolutely horrible. Yet, I was thinking about applying labels on one side only, in order to get both the perfect screen match on one side, and a cooler look on the other.
Does anybody of you know where I could by casino royale labels with values?

POST SCRIPTUM (hate me more)
believe it or not, it looks like I just bought two original cartamundi decks from a used-DVDs seller in France... For 12 euros (WTF!!!!) shipping included (!!!!). I will let you know if it was a scam or just a seller who didn't know the actual value of the cards because it usually sells vintage DVDs

yes, now you should definetely hate me: casino royale original cards, brand new, still factory sealed... for ten dollars, shipping from Germany included.
Insane

I got some of these, but in single decks. Mostly for collectable value, because they are crap for playing.
oh, I bet so.
I haven't opened them yet, but while watching the movies you can see how filmsy they are already.
Before finding this sealed double pack for ten euros I ordered a used double pack for a pretty honest 40$.
I am considering to see the used pack, consider the cards, and use the used one. I will probably keep sealed the sealed one.
Or maybe even reselling it for 120$

View attachment 1317175 looks like someone let the colors drip from the bottle

Let me as a german try to translate what you just said, so you can ge tthe reactions of the chippers here.

Just imagine some german like me would come up to you and complain that he doesn't like the shape of spaghetti, because it looks like "someone let the pasta dough drip from the bottle" lol  :ROFLMAO::ROFL: :ROFLMAO::ROFL: :ROFLMAO:

but: People here tend to agree, that the most important thing is that you like your chips. After all it's your chips and you have to play with them so if you're happy, it's fine ;)
