Does anyone have pictures of the WSOP 25s?

Great chips, love them, nice and moderately heavy.

Curious on everyone’s thoughts… is it worth trying to build a cash set using only the newer 10th anniversary 25$ chips, the Bacc Room 5$ and a mix of all the 1$? It certainly would feel like a newer more consistent set.

To be clear, those 25's were bought at this sale and not just ones you had already? They look to be in very good condition...
Sets of these went on sale months ago and sold out. This past sale was just for the extra $25’s and $100’s.

Unfortunately I think several folks on here are already ahead of you on that - pickings will be slim.

Does anyone know what color the Majestic $25's are? "Forest Green?" What about the WSOP 25's?

Was this mystery ever solved? Suspect Jim just wanted off for the holidays.....
I think Jim still have some leftover stock ? I suspect he had to keep a buffer in case of the PP inventory cork up that happen during the JACK Cincin sale.
So I approach Jim on Tues via email after they are sold out and make an small order of 500 chips set

They are mailed out on Tues so I don't think Jim is on holiday as well

It’s more of a question… do people prefer the worn leaded chips? Or the newer formula, and not so worn. It’s sorta a tough call.

Different strokes for different folks. You wont find a universal answer to this question.

It's also not only about lead vs no lead. For me I absolutely hate the metal flakes. Thats why the Anniversary $25 is much more appealing to me than the older version. In this case the visuals are more important (for me). I would prefer the Anniversary version of the $25 even if they were in equally good shape. Even though it is unleaded vs its older leaded counterpart.

One thing I'm absolutely sure of though is that there are plenty of people on here with some serious chipping OCD, that will in fact have an opinion on the matter, and as such will likely be willing to trade one way or another.

You also have a more practical aspect of this. The Anniversary chips are in more limited supply and if people just want to complete a coherent rack of either version (just for OCD purposes) they might look to fill the gap which is easier to fill, in other words go for the version they are missing the fewest of. Completeing a rack of anniversary $25s might take multiple trades, while filling a rack of the old style $25 might just take one trade.

Anyways, good luck. I agree that having the same inlay and condition would make a much more appealing coherent set in the end.

I think that is independent to each person. I love the look of mint chips, and the longer life expectancy...however I much prefer the feel of broken in chips. Not a huge fan of completely worn out bike tires, but I'd rather sonething totally worn smooth with less life left over something in between that has tons of flea bites

And I definitely prefer leaded chips lol
The lighter/newer chips come with some cooler colors... but I personally don't like them enough to even bother owning them

Is this sale or thread still active / valid? I'm new here.
The thread and the sale are active, yes, but most of the things are already sold out. I believe only the WSOP T25, IOC KC T1000 Sets and the Jack $25 Secondary are still available.

Any reports on the IOCs?

I got a few sets and they are nice. Totally worth it if you like solids. Also make great milling candidates.

The red T5 are practically new/unused with very few showing light use. They show the texture and are harder to shuffle as all new chips are.
For some reason, the higher denominations show more use and are broken in more.
The casino must have started all their tournaments at T25 and probably never bothered using the T5s at all.

The green T25 show use and some grime (nothing near the Majestic Star levels of hooker juice). The orange T500 shows the most grime which I would put at the same level as the used/not cleaned Jack Cincy. Not bad at all.

I only have a pic of the T5. I'll try to get pics of the other denominators later.

Here's a pic of a few barrels of all the chips together.

Are these radiant red? They just looked like normal red in the sale pics.

I'm honestly too new to collecting chips too make that judgement and be 100% accurate.

They look radiant red to me. They are florescent under UV light.

Jack Cincy $5 for comparison.

Isn't radiant red almost more pink? Like on the CDI98 $5 chip? And the Ojibwa Room T5000?

$500’s cleaned and in sunlight, best photo representation I can produce of what they look like in person. Radiant red is even brighter in person. One of my new favourite all time chips.
I agree, these chips are great. I played with them in a tournament yesterday and got a lot of compliments. The only thing I don't like about them is the blending/dirty stack when paired with the 100's in low lighting.
