Man, MGM Grand is just way too big — really horrible layout, in my opinion. L’Atelier de Joël Robuchon, however, is its phenomenal saving grace. Best meal I've ever had by some distance.

MGM feels like a shopping mall had a baby with a warehouse. I get the same feeling at Resorts World, which is pretty much a convention center with a casino in it…

looking at the rest of the spots you've hit so far, you may like Bouchon at the Venetian. It's Thomas Keller's place. It's good, very french though and so I didn't enjoy it as much as I'd hoped mainly because I don't think I like French cuisine all that much.

Oh, or you should visit the Peppermill if only for that experience. And if you get a chance and are absolutely freaking starving go to Hash house a go-go for truly american over the top sized meal. IIRC they are kinda all over but there should still be one in the Plaza and the Linq plus more.

@JustDave Hash House and Pepermill are on my to-do list before leaving on Thursday, although I think I'll struggle for time now as a busy few last days planned. Next time though...

I’m going to walk over to Hash House at the Linq when they open. I’m out of here pretty soon after that. Sorry about not getting together last night. I was damn busy from the moment I went to the poker cage. Chips were too good.
No need to apologise, dude — I'm stacked today and tomorrow anyway. Glad you managed a very healthy harvest.

Had my absolute favourite session of the trip last night at The Bellagio — but not before a cigar at their stunning Baccarat Bar.

Bought in for $300, which soon went down to $100 after my set of Jacks ran into :8d::3d: on a flopped flush (not sure what he was doing in there after my $15 UTG pre-flop raise, but I guess that's Vegas).

I was ready to cut my losses and just call it a night to be honest, as I had an early start this morning for golf. But where's the fun in that, right?

Played some of the best poker of my life after that, running it back up to about $250 before my pocket Kings flopped a set and ran into a set of Eights. Out for $447.

Yesterday was an absolute belter, fair play! Golf at Bali Hai was real special to start the day:

If you haven't already visited or are a planning a visit to Vegas in the near future, the Neon Museum is an absolute must! One of the highlights of my trip.

Finished the night off at Golden Steer — in the Rat Pack / Sammy Davis Jr booth, no less. Epic vibe and epic food, although I was too hungry and drunk to get a photo.

Just about to have my final meal at SW Steakhouse, then finishing off with a Golden Knights game.

Where’s the beef?

Honestly you probably get more bang for your buck elsewhere. ;)
Best meal of the trip by quite some margin.

Absolutely huge bone marrow to start:

This was followed by an 18oz boneless ribeye (they'd run out of the 26oz bone-in, annoyingly) with a blue cheese crust (a bit much in hindsight), black truffle butter, creamed spinach, and parmesan truffle fries:

10/10. Will be going back next time.
