Hello Summer 2023! This is my favorite trip of the year (when I win). Arriving tonight and starting the trip quick tomorrow with an trip to the Aria to play my favorite summer tourney!. Should be a blast, we have a couple fun dinner reservations and some good times for the next week. Come along, enjoy the low roller ride and lets see how I do!

Going to start with a bankroll of around $3000. As usual, I include: Poker, Pits, Slots, Food & Fun! Let's GO !

Well, bad beat #1

Bad beat 2, my wife managed to leave her ID behind !!

Ended up not being to bad, extra screening that took maybe 10 mins, cold pint and we're on a plane!

Hope for safe travels and some run good!

I love coming into Vegas at night! I have a great photo as my phone wallpaper from a few years ago! Landed and quick to disembark.

Stopped at the regular "first meal" and filled our bellys on yummy burgers, it's a tradition lol . .

Only gambling done on the first night was a brief session of bubble craps and a couple slots.

I believe I forgot to update, whoops! Let's see if I can get caught up! It was a fun trip !

Quite a bit of construction going on in preparation of F1.
Most every primary road near the strip looks like this.

Off for one of my favorite summer tournaments @ Aria

Getting in a little slot action (lowball) to relax my brain before tournament

Starting time, starting stack. Man I love mixed Triple Draw!

And Busto, 4 from $$ . . .

Vegas knights celebration parade is happening and the streets are a madhouse. I had to walk from Aria to MGM to ride the monorail north, that took awhile. Pizza and slots and bed.

Started off the day with some breakfast. This is beginning to be my regular as using comps. The sandwich is delicious and lots of food to start the day.

Didn't get alot of photos but we gambled and headed to Red Rock for dinner @ the "newer" Lotus of Siam. So delicious and we were sat in a large room at sunset where the retractable roof was, well, retracted. Beautiful!

Tried the "Roll to Win" craps table and a little slot action while on wait for some poker.

Did decent and won about $100 so headed to Ellis Island for some delicious brews (IPAs) and $5 or $10 craps!

Brother in law scored on one of those "giant" slots $5 to $50 on a single spin

The very next day . . .

Breakfast, or I guess "brunch" slots, bubble craps and regular craps and a bunch of coffee while my crew sleeps in.

Ok, this guy is wearing "lift" crocks. I couldn't resist. He wasn't even short?
Some more after brunch craps until we head out.

Wynn buffet. IMHO the best value/quality you can get in a buffet. The desert choices are out of this world.

Wynn poker. While family played slots I got just an hour and half with very small profit . . . $23. Huge tournament area for the summer.

Southpoint tourney. Didn't cash but got 3 away from bubble. Again, another blast!

Southpoint Cash. Sat in the limit game H.O.R.S.E.. After a couple hours myself and another player got the table to drop hold 'em and add in Badugi & 2-7 triple draw. Now that was fun !

Next morning Southpoint. I say next morning because the sun was literally rising when we left. One heck of a great night. I love summer poker in Vegas!

Last day . . .

We slept until about 1 and had a hearty lunch. I played some more craps and slots. We roamed around a bit but are feeling the "last day exhausted" stuff.

finally dinner time, Downtown. Tried a new place and it was fantastic. Cocktails, beers and sandwiches.

Some more craps before the final poker tournament

Lowball tournament @ Westgate. It's a good closing tournament since it's as cheap as they get and we are all so tired.

I managed to squeeze a 2 way chop for first. Woo hoo.

Late night bedtime snack at my favorite pizza in Vegas, Evel Pie (way better that Rock imho)

At the airport, waiting at our departure gate, lady behind me is sprawled out & snooring . . .

It was a FANTASTIC trip as usual

How's the play at Westgate? I guess you can't go wrong for $55. Evel Pie is on my list. If you haven't tried the white pizza at Secret Pie in the Cosmopolitan, I highly recommend it.

Play in that $55 was soft. Mostly locals. I try to hit Evel Pie every trip, sometimes more that once. Everytime I've attempted secret, the line is deep down the hallway, but on my to do someday.
