In all seriousness, and I kind of feel weird asking this, but is this a legit strat/instructional book?

I would love to read up on this if it is. Some day I want to attend the BBOTB (I'm right here in MA) but I don't know shit other than HE which does not bode well for meet ups.

That's a legit question (especially because the quote on the back is a little funny), and yes, it is an actual strategy book for SOHE.

You will want to learn some PLO, however, before you dig into this book. I do not review many fundamental PLO concepts; it is assumed that the reader is already a student of both Hold'em and PLO.

Me too. But what does it say about what kind of dickhead I am, that I'll donk off $15 in a nightly pokerstars game without a second thought, but it took me almost 24 hours to justify dropping $20 on a paperback?

Excellent, but might be better as a 'first out' prize in lieu of a rock. The tourney winner prolly has it down already (or is just really lucky, aka Chippy).

Self publishing on Kindle is pretty simple and it pays well.

My wife is a writer and has a few self published books for Kindle on Amazon.

The best part is the pay rate. If the book is listed for $3 or more the author gets about 2/3 (I can't recall the exact amount right now) and Amazon gets 1/3.

Considering with her other publishing company she got about 10% it is a great deal.

She makes the same amount selling $3 E books as she does when one of her $20 books sells from the publishing company.
