A few people have expressed interest in 39mm chips, Please respond with how many chips you would be interested in if 39mm were to be offered. I am thinking we would need to order at least 5000 39mm chips to make it worth while.

I want to make this clear. I am calling this a GB but I will be charging a design fee for this order - 2¢/chip. I know this goes against the normal GB rules, if anybody has any issues or concerns with this please speak up now. I was not going to run the GB, however so far nobody has stepped forward. The design fee covers all the work I have done up until this point and I will be working with Sun-Fly to get the chips created.

I don’t take issue with wanted to be compensated for your work.

I wouldn’t mind running a GB but I’ve only been a member a short period of time and I wouldn’t expect people to put faith in a newbie. If there’s anything I can do to assist I am more than willing to help out. I do plan on purchasing a set myself. Looking like about a 700pc tourney set.
 
Looks and sounds great, p5woody. I had a couple questions:

1. Can we order blank chips only? (I think you mentioned that previously but can you confirm?)

2. If so, would that affect the 2¢ per chip? I'm OK with "no" since you designed the chip bases too, but thought I'd bring it up.

1. Yes, you can order blanks
2. I didn't really think about that, but yea blanks would be 1¢ per chip.
 
This just got very interesting.... :D

Any chance you might be changing up the brown quarter to something pink? Or are all the chips set at this point.

Could you post a face-only two-dimension image of the chips so we can play with combos and labels?

I got no problem with art fees even if I only purchase blanks (chip/spot design is art). :).

Only question, will the GB include?

1: Cash (pictured in the OP) set chips only
-or-
2: Cash (pictured in the OP) set & Tournament (6D18 pictured in post 13) set

I'm sure the answer depends on chip amounts but couldn't find a definitive answer.
 
So will sample sets be available? I also would be interested in 25 blanks to put together a seating set.

Yea, I think they will be 12¢ per chip cheaper - however will need to confirm.

We will be offering an alternate Quarter and will post two dimension images when I get a chance.

I believe both sets will be offered, I think we have enough demand for them.

Assuming samples will be available, may have somebody coordinate samples to reduce effort on original shipper.

If we want to accommodate all variations that people have requested, it would be a nightmare for Sun-Fly and the shipper. If we have 20 different configurations there is a higher chance of errors occurring. I think this approach reduces the possibility of errors and reduces effort for the people involved.

All details are sill being worked out.

Wouldn't be too bad if you are only ordering a few non-standard denoms. Labeling gets easy once you do about 50, you get into a rhythm. But if you were doing 1500+, it might get a bit tedious. :D

12/12/5/6 would be 250/250/100/200. You don't really need 5k chips, but you could always do 250/250/100/180/20
8/8/6/6 would 200/200/150/200. again, you can always add 5k chips.

So I could order the 25k chip with a $1 label instead? I don't mind having to apply the labels myself if need be.
 
I would be in for a smallish set of the 6D18 tourney chips, at least some of each denom. I would need to figure out a breakdown
 
Once the chip designs are finally decided on, if possible I’d like to please see some flat chip face shots. I want to comp up some labels to decide on what blank chips I’ll order.

Its so simple, but I love that blue and white half circle chip. My favorite of the set.

Best bet is a WTB ad in the PCF classifieds for samples of 43mm Boardwalks, Tangiers, Havana Room, or Mayfair Club chips. All were produced on the hybrid blank that will be used for the MT chips. There have been a couple of other private buys as well, but not many of those chips are in general circulation.

Something like that would be possible? I may cut out the 25k and make the 5000 the blue.

Really digging these designs, chips and labels. My only concern is not having handled these hybrids before. It would make for a great tourney set and a reasonable cost, so that alone may convince me to get in on this
