A quick pic of the new Nooksack quarters.

Inlay replacements (like the $1 and $100).

My Emerald Princess set is finally finished!

I had @Gear make me some labels to turn the yellow snappers from the original set into $1 chips, and then he also milled a bunch of monogrammed hotstamped THC chips into fracs for me. Not sure what it is about this set, but I love it. The chips just feel like butter, perfectly worn in. One of only 2 casino used sets that I have kept. Love it.

Thanks for making it playable for me Gear. Outstanding work!!

Those look great. If you don't mind me asking, what were the grey .25 legends before you relabeled?

Fantastic job on Wyndham OSJ labels. I relabeled some Card Casino Vienna’s 1000’s. The artwork is an exact match. Perfect size and thickness. Based on Chris’s recommendation I went with the 0.016” thick laminated label. Looks awesome. We are very lucky to have someone so skilled in our community. I can’t wait for these chips to hit the felt Tuesday in our monthly tournament. Many thanks and I’m already looking forward to the next project even though I have no idea what that might be.

Chris did some inlay replacement on these Kings Crown TRK $5 chips, turning them into beautiful Milton Prell's Aladdin $1s for my mixed set. Fantastic quality, and I highly recommend his work!

Do all these ceramic chips have recesses? Or are the labels just stuck on top of a flush surface?

I'm not quite sure what you're asking. Are you talking about the ceramic hybrid chips? Those definitely do have a recess, and can accommodate a thick laminated label quite well. (If they have existing labels, those have to be removed first.)

"Normal" ceramic chips do not have labels at all, nor recesses, and the designs are printed directly onto the chip via dye sublimation. Relabelling ceramic chips is not really an option.

Hope that helps.

Yes, this is what I rationally thought. Thanks for the confirmation!
Relabelled Milanos and Majestics look very nice. I must now also consider this as an option (for a roulette set).

You may be mistaking the relabeled BJ (Bud Jones) chips in this thread for ceramics. BJ (and Matsui) chips are a high-end machine-finish injection-molded plastic with a center recess for a factory laminated label. Many versions also contain a metal slug.

Yes, I was probably mistaken. It wasn't the first time, and, sadly, it's unlikely to be the last. Metal slug - eww.

It’s fine if you don’t like heavier chips, but do keep in mind that slugs don’t mean low quality. Bud Jones chips are a quality chip, and many times they are weighted to 12g.

Another order received from Chris. The turnaround time was 1 or 2 days at the most. Shipping arrived 6 days earlier than the Post Office tracking said they would!
Labels came out beautiful as always.

I’ll be busy tonight!!! Pron of the whole set soon I hope. :D

Thanks again.

What chips are using?

What chips are using?

Most of these need labels. The 25c and $1’s are the only ones that are all done.

The green chips have the tournament 25 on them but I wanted $ on them so I ordered new labels. Only a few of the $5 have labels from the spares you had sent when I bought the set. So that is most of what I need to label. Over 500 of them. And I recently picked up 96 of the black chips to use for $100’s.
