That would be a redonkulous set! Still out of my price range for a chip type (CPC) that I already have, but an understandably awesome set on R&C.

The "AC" needs to be hit with the J5 magic wand though...
 
Damn it. Don't make me go sell some shit for a new Taj set. Hmmm the "AC" does double duty for me because those are my initials as well.
 
With the Boardwalk group buy apparently dead, is anyone interested in doing these through Sun-Fly?

I'm with @BGinGA that these would look great on the hybrid mold.

The E&C mold CPC chips look awesome, but if I'm paying full price I would want a custom set that nobody else has. To me that is part of the reasoning for paying so much for their chips,truly unique chips.
 
I would have a possible interest if done as a hybrid, but 0% interest on any type of chip if AC or Atlantic City is on the design. That's what kept me out of the other group buy which shall not be named.
 
I am emailing SunFly and 2 other companies today about doing these in a hybrid mold. In light of the other GB falling apart, we are going to move very quickly on this.

Please post firm interest in a set here. We may have to do this a little differently

Right now it's not out of the question but we are looking in to other options
 
Just an update:

This thread has now been changed to just general interest and discussion on Taj chips. I am making this thread just a general discussion thread. I will open up a thread for interest on my mold in a moment.

And for an update on my end:
I emailed OWPS, Sun Fly, GOCC and CPC about prices to get these done in either straight one piece ceramics or hybrids. I am hoping to do 50-60c per. I will not go over 65 cents
 
Please include in your post if you are interested in the CPC E & C mold or the ceramics/hybrids. These could be run a little different so we want to make sure everyone knows what they are interested in. This thread is now for discussion of ceramics ONLY.

Please specify which type (regular ceramic or hybrids) and what your "vote" is for where they should be made.

I will post a price per chip update when I get them all. Theb we can start talking which vendor.

There's no need to vote. The CPC E & C mold set is just a concept. For the masses these should be done on ceramic hybrids or regular ceramics.
 
Maybe a poll should be added to this thread for ceramic hybrids or regular ceramics.

I just meant a "vote" for where people think the ceramics should be made. I have a feeling I know what the decision will be once we get the price quotes, but I just wanted to make sure everyone gets a say once we have prices.

Good idea on the poll. I will post once I hear from all the vendors I contacted
 
Will there be a $1,000 & $5,000 chip as well for tournaments or just cash chips?

I'd be interested in a set if there will be higher values for a tournament set depending on design and final cost per chip.

My vote would be Sun-Fly hybrids.

Not sure if there are references for 1k and 5k chips to make them happen. At this rate I only see these going up to 500

All Chips only goes up to 1K for Taj chips. We may be able to make the 1K work but I don't think Taj even made a 5K chip
 
I can't find a picture, but Trump Taj Mahal definitely had $5000 chips. They are referenced in several news stories:
The police said that when Mr. Bradley was arrested, he had 27 $5,000 chips from the Trump Taj Mahal Hotel and Casino in Atlantic City.
