Got to share this beauty with some fellow PCFers during my meetup this past weekend. Lived up to the hype for me!

Did not know this existed. Will be on the lookout. What's msrp?
$70…worth every penny and then some.

I just cracked my first ever bottle of this yesterday and it’s fantastic! Everything I’ve had from NR has been very good, or better, but this is by far my favorite offering of theirs. Buy 2 if you get lucky and see it in the wild…it’s a fairly limited seasonal release. Took me 3 years to finally find one.

How about the regular malted rye, not finished? Is it good too?

Quite the endorsement, I will add this to the list, New Riff does good stuff.

This bottle is still available in my parts at the low low msrp of $280…in comparison to PC18 at $200, is the extra juice worth the squeeze? I even think all three of the 16 series are floating around here as well with 16.1 starting at $200

I understand “worth” and “better than” are very subjective to each individual, but consider that I gladly paid $200 for PC18 and have zero regret/remorse…it might be the best whisky I’ve had to date. I got the discretionary funds for a replacement PC18 and 1 Octomore, and I’ve been itching to try one. Any and all input would be greatly appreciated!

@Billy Baroo we were talking about it with my friends last night. It was a great purchase I was really surprised how much more balanced than I remembered from previous very early Octomore. Would I buy it again? Probably not, so many other Scotch to explore. Just had some Kilkerran heavily peated and it was wonderful.
