Boomers: Ugh, we didn't have Autism in my day like you kids these days. Now let me go back to organizing all my little clay disks and weighing them and documenting their weights in a master sheet than putting the back in the custom storage I painfully plucked to fit and cushion them perfectly.

I don't have autism, I do have a little bit of OCD. Plus with me being old I need to take pictures so I can remember things correctly lol.

The pink scale is my wife's food scale. She'd be quite unhappy if she saw chips directly on the scale When I switched over to the scale I bought was when I just put them on there.

Lol it was a joke and not at you specifically, since everyone's here posting their green chip weights on scales right now.

There's a scale somewhere in this house and I've weighed chips once or twice on it.

Yea I took them out of curiosity and so I could share them on the forum when needed. I won't tell you about the spreadsheet I started which has chip weights too...

While weight doesn't drive me to buy a chip before looks, edge spots, and inlays do, in play I like a chip around 9.5-10.5 g in weight. It just feels more substantial and has a better sound than a chip that's sub 9 g.

lol it’s supposed to be physically impossible to make new molds. Supposedly that technology was lost with the secret of transmuting lead into gold and how we started the sun. Crazy that they would spend millions reinventing a metal forming technology just to make a few thousand house molds. Crazy world we live in.

Or maybe it’s just not that hard and we still have the technology but people religiously believe anything anyone tells them.

I don’t think autism is quite the scarlet letter it once was, as younger generations are exposed to quite a bit of materials on the subject matter and are regularly taught empathy and compassion regarding atypical folk.
