I just posted what I thought was a controversial chip opinion in another thread and figured it could be interesting/fun to see a whole thread full of different ones.

*What I ask is if you see an opinion that is just baffling, stupid, wrong, makes you irate, or you just simply disagree with it, instead of passionately contesting it, just give it the ol' Kifer Special . Wear it like a badge of honor, because too often a "controversial opinion" is actually anything but that. The more , the better.*

So keep it simple and have it!

Edit - Controversial poker opinions welcome as well.

LOL I've said it many times. A palm tree NEVER looks bad on an inlay. Had to resist the urge myself on my customs. It just looks so damn good for some reason.
I mean there are so many options, palm tree on the left, palm tree on the right, if you are really going all out: palm tree in the middle;)

I should be the Mod in the politics forum.

Most people that buy NAGB chips sit them on the shelves "to get a seat in the cool kids club" then sell 2 months later with another $200 mark up AND "dead mint, never played by me!" Change hands 10 plus times and still dead mint. Just interesting!

My favorite feeling chips are Hot Stamped RHCs with the larger lip and "Paulson" mold chips, that nobody likes

Oh and Stateline casino's crappy Oversixed inlay RHCs are definitely better than a zero! But not much

What up with CPC SCrowns though...

Sure, I've seen some killer sets made on this mold...and the mold has obvious nostalgia to it...

But sampling it leaves ALOT to be desired. Can't be just me. They feel terrible. Cheap. Like plastic almost and the clack noise from them makes me discouraged from pulling the trigger. I don't see the appeal

And they only look good with 1” inlays. Now if CPC ever offered 1” shaped inlays, like the OG TRKs…
