Is it about every guy on PCF?The Old Man.
Watched Blow Out from Brian De Palma today, great flick.
Finally found time to watch Oppenheimer yesterday. Could also have been a snoozer but I’m glad there’s one director one can still count on.
Never got around to watching it when it first came out and the reviews/opinions since haven’t exactly motivated me.*cough* Tenet *cough*
It's worth a watch imo. That said, I had to watch it twice for it to start to make sense. I've seen it a few times now and I find that I appreciate the film a little bit more each time.Never got around to watching it when it first came out and the reviews/opinions since haven’t exactly motivated me.
Maybe I should give it a try then. I’m a big Nolan fan and love everything else he’s doneIt's worth a watch imo. That said, I had to watch it twice for it to start to make sense. I've seen it a few times now and I find that I appreciate the film a little bit more each time.

A critic for a leading paper once said he loves to sit as close as possible. He likes to be absorbed in the movie. That’s a little close for me though- my neck would be screaming. Glad you liked it- my son is super excited… will have to buy some tickets now!At the movies to see Tron, but seriously… WHO the F**k sits in these seats by choice!

Maybe hard to see but balling my eyes out, I don’t think I blinked for two hours! Coolest shit I have ever seen!
I wish I was a bit more high, but also not sure my brain could keep up!
This movie was insanely well done!!
Glad you mentioned it bud, just saw it. Not at all what I thought based on the previews. My son and I liked it. Looks like they’re setting up for a 4th.At the movies to see Tron, but seriously… WHO the F**k sits in these seats by choice!

I finally got around to watching Sinners. There was so much hype around this movie. People are saying it’s hands down the best horror movie of 2025. It’s not. It takes and hour and a half before anything horror related even happens. When it finally does get good, it’s like the Temu version of the end of From Dusk Till Dawn. I was really looking forward to watching Sinners. I wanted to like it, but it was just so boring. From Dusk Till Dawn is much better. I grew up on vampire movies like The Lost Boys, so my taste isn’t what today’s generation is into, I guess.Anyone see Sinners yet? Getting good reviews and I'm a sucker for a good vampire flick. Wife doesn't do horror movies though so I need a horror-movie girlfriend now

As far as the best horror movie of the year claim goes, I’d give that to Weapons. The pacing is well done. It keeps your attention. It does bounce around a bit in terms of the timeline, but it’s done that way to keep you interested and keep you guessing, which it does effectively. It’s a dark, yet fun movie. It’s so different from anything else I’ve seen. It’s refreshing to me when a movie can get you locked in and keep you there while actually being good and different all at the same time. I definitely recommend it.
If we are talking about horror let’s not forget Weekend At Bernie’s Part 2I grew up on Lost Boys, From Dusk Til Dawn

Or 50 First Dates. Having to meet Adam Sandler for the first time over and over again every day forever would be horrific. If we are talking about horror let’s not forget Weekend At Bernie’s Part 2

Thanks, that saves me two hours. It had some moments, but overall didn't live up to the expectations. And the vampires singing and doing some Irish Jig was just fucking weird.
If you've never watched it, it is a rite of passage:
Once you've watched it there are hours of great reading available.

Cult classic. Watch it 3 or 4 times then watch The Disaster Artist. Highly recommend. Best bad movie of all time. Even better than Tiptoes. With an IMDB rating of 3,6 I’d need a compelling sales pitch to give it a go![]()
