Out of boredom I took a hand ranking card and converted it to a Black/Trasnparent and a Black/White .ai file.

Same here, i made a black and white File with Illustrator. I'm pretty happy with the result.

Here is an example of a set I made for @Chawks45 to use in the KC Straddle.

eating card set #1 ist finished.

You guys have inspired me! These are all great ideas.

So ist took a while and i jumped of from the last supplier for aluminum cut cards. But i found a new one and i am waiting for the first batch of cards.

In the mean time, i lasered some cut cards o got from a pcf member to test again.

Nice! Are the cut cards metal or plastic? I can't seem to find the good sized black blank cut cards. You have a tip?

These are aluminum cards.
What material are you looking for?
I've only ever used those oversized plastic "normal" cutcards, and was wondering if our laser could engrave it (haven't done plastic that thin yet). I couldn't find the metal businesscards larger then 86x54 on amazon.

I came across this thread some time ago. I was thinking about creating personalised bounty cards. With the outline of my regular players. That would be fun. But as this thread also shows, there are so many possibilities...seating cards, ranking cards, re-entry cards etc. Haven't done engraving on chips, will be testing soon :)

I docnot recommend lasering plastic unless you have really good ventilation. The stuff you can inhale is nasty.

For aluminum cards in this size unfortunately you have to get them custom made. I allready struggled with numerous suppliers and still did not manage to find one with the quality i want...

yeah, I laser on the FSL Muse Core Desktop CO2 Laser (45 Watt) and have excellent ventilation, so that's no problem. okay, I thought I had to go the custom route I guess... Thanks!

Are you serious about doing the engraving as a business or should/could we share some vector files?

I definetly would like to go the business route as soon as i found a supplier.
But i think if theres something we can help each other out with, why not

just to be clear, im not going the business route. I am using the laser from my work (university) :D but if we have nice/handy vector files, we could share them. I cant DM you (because of my noob status here haha). I am just learning to get a bit more experienced with Illustrator :)
