My Journey As A Professional Poker Player (28 Viewers)

In for 1k, out for $3,676

Man it feels REAL good to have two great back-to-back sessions

Past few months have felt like I'm just spinning my wheels, NEEDED this morale boost!

CO is $10 straddle, we call button with :ah::ad::8c::7d:

SB a tricky pro raises to 45, few callers, we repot on a 1k stack to $230

He calls, two others call. Over $900 in the pot

Flop :qs::4s::4d:

Pro donks $200

Asian male aged 21-60 on my right thinks for awhile and calls

We rip it in for $665, they both call and we're all-in

Pro only runs it once and board comes :3h::3c:

Pro has :kh::qh::qc::6h:

Asian has 4xxx

We get stacked and rebuy $500. Very next hand dealt :as::ad::8d::2s: in the CO, few limpers, pro on button makes it 60

Bunch of callers, I repot to $310, pro repots, asian on my right is all-in for $500

We go once

Board :ac::th::6s::qc::3h:

Pro has :ah::kh::kc::6d:

and we triple up and are even so far lol

Another 3-legged dog? I don't think this guy is a "pro." He's overvaluing hands that are strong in hold'em. At least from this two hand sample size.

We're 5 handed since the table just started

He should know I have AAxx in the hand where he continues with KQQ6 and should dump it pre

The 2nd hand I'm ok with his play, he blocks me having Aces and he may perceive I am tilted from the previous hand

Saw this and thought about you @Anthony Martino
I like this vlog but 2 complaints...

1) hes a little too aggressive when peeking at the cards.. go easy buddy, ;)

2). What the fuck am I getting old? I thought he had 2 diamonds here. These cards suck !

quick look at the A and thought cards were dbl suited.

5 handed does change some of the calculus I suppose.

He should know I have AAxx in the hand where he continues with KQQ6 and should dump it pre
I could see a flat with that hand maybe (it's still a 3 legged dog.). 3 betting a straddle and a call out of position still seems spewy.

Call a preflop raise with :ac::7c::5h::4h:

Flop :8c::6h::6c:

We check to a guy thats been fairly tight, he pots it

Fish cold calls, we opt to fold.

Turn :4d: fish check-calls a $190 bet leaving himself $10 behind

River :6d:

Fish checks, guy checks behind and shows pocket 8's and we dodged a disaster

Known maniac sits down on our left with $300

He just came from the 5/5 PLO and obviously got crushed

We limp :js::th::7s::6h: and he pots, everyone calls

Flop :th::6s::2h:

Check to maniac who pots for $215

Fairly solid player who has been winning a lot lately calls, fish on my right all-in for less

We rip it for $845 total

Solid guy looks disgusted, eventually folds

Maniac only runs it once. We river the flush, he had 66xx and short stack just had a straight draw.

Big stack solid guy visibly upset as he had a better flush draw, phew!

Yeah I'd be visibly upset too after the deck was fouled twice in a week and no-one noticed. WTF Hard Rock doing? :D

Lost a little in the 5/5 PLO, won most of it back in the 2/2 PLO. Overall had to settle for a $60 loss on the day, so not terrible.

The 5/5 game was short-handed at the start and struggled to really fill up while I was there, so I switched to the 2/2 when it looked like it was going to go. The fish were plentiful, one crazy guy kept potting it preflop to $20 every chance he got, which obviously makes the game play bigger. And unfortunately I wasn't able to capitalize on many of those 5-6 way pots as I just wasn't flopping much.

Also tried to put in more hours today than I have been putting in. Partly because I want to play more cash game hours and make more money, but also so I can prepare myself for June as there are a number of tournaments coming up I'm interested in playing (about 12 of them including a variety of games including mixed, plo and nlhe) and will likely sell some of my action on those as well.

Back in Tampa for some more action

Best player in room raises pre to $20, gets a caller, I repot from BB with :ah::kh::ks::qc: to $110

They both call

Flop :tc::9d::2s:

I check, pro bets $225, other guy rips it, I fold. They get it in. Pro has JT87, other guy doesn't show

Turn 5, river brick and one pair Tens lol

Right fold, wrong time
