If all this bounty stuff doesn’t pan out, there’s still a ton of good that came from collectively dropping 300+ lbs between a pretty small group of us!

Apologies. I'll weigh in the morning, but I'm fairly certain I've gained since my last official posting. So it seems to be moot.

Spending 3 weeks trying to put weight on my mother after surgery, followed by Thanksgiving killed my previous losses. My final weight is 181.4 so I had lost 7, but put 4 back on for a net loss of just 3 pounds. :banghead:

Net loss of 3 is not 0. And that includes thanksgiving

Doesn't sound like you had much to loose to start with!! 3 pounds is definitely 3 pounds... many of us had lots of extras we didn't need anymore! Lol

Yeah, I was just following along. I would love to get down to 165, but I'm just not that motivated yet to do it. I like to eat. And drink beer. Priorities!

Sorry for the late response but I've been on an insanely busy business trip. I think this is the first time I've been on PCF this week, and I'm doing it from 32,000 feet on the way home from Arizona.

Long story short, I had a good couple of weeks at the start but fell off the wagon when life started getting a little crazy. Obviously I'm out, but my bounty is of course still available.
 
Ok...trying to put some closure to this as we’re now over a week from the official ‘end’ and Jeff is still MIA...

I’m honestly struggling on how to do so though (was hoping someone else would!). The winner doesn’t want anyone’s bounties. There’s no plan on whether @dmoney or I got second. The Bounty I was working to win is MIA .

@Frogzilla started a PM to honor his obnoxiously generous additional stake...many thanks for that! But what of the rest?

I’m posting this for honest feedback. Does anyone have any ideas? Everyone just takes back their bounties and we all are thankful for the life changes brought on?

Everyone still interested lists their bounties and the top 5 pick in the original system after @dmoney and I dance-off?

Something else?

I’m that guy who just can’t take not finishing things that can be finished. Would love to finish this, in whatever way works for everyone. Otherwise it’ll bug me.

Thoughts anyone?

Thanks for asking the question @DZPoker. I too was hoping we'd be settled up by now, or well on the way.

There are definitely some bounties that motivated me that I would claim. I'm also open to allowing people to "buy out" at rate negotiated between the person who would want to claim a bounty, and the person who put it up.

I love the altruistic spirit. But I fully agreed to put my bounty at risk - and will still happily surrender it to anyone who earned it under the rules we agreed to - and would expect everyone that everyone who said 'yes' would follow through on their "buy-in" the competition.

My bounties are of very little value, but I still plan to contribute them to the contest. Just 3 sample sets from my Cards mold group buy. Unfortunately, I thought I would have them by now, but UPS lost half of my order. So probably at least a month or two before I'll have them in hand. I was thinking each one would be a separate bounty, going to 3 different winners. But y'all can distribute them however you want.

I re-read the first couple of posts. The top 5 keep their bounties, and choose from the other 15 in a draft, with #1 getting more picks and #5 getting just one. Who is able to access the tables with all the data? Only Jeff? Or also @timinater since he created it? The rules are fairly clear, so Tim should be able to provide us with the order of finish. Once we have that, how about each person in the bottom 15 post another pic of their bounty and we go from there? I'm with you DZ, we started this, and we need to finish it.

My bounty was going to be covered by Jeff, not sure where he's at. If it comes to it I'll put mine up myself, so my end of the bargain is held up no matter what.

Congrats to those who lost a bunch of weight. I started off well and them things got crazy around here, and I lost my momentum.

I'm paying my bounty by getting 7 $25 gift cards from one of the vendors. I just need the final tally. My original bounty was a live sample set $135 so this is in the same ball park and the folks that put in the work not only got healthier but get some poker goodies.

Lol theres a good plenty now! I will likely not be going back out unless it is to chase after a buck of choosing

Errr, yes, sample set. o_O

I come across deer constantly on hikes now but last week I practically ran into a buck with a nice rack. Scared the hell out of me when he jumped out of a bush, looked at me like 'what?' and wandered away.

I've switched over to wearing an dayglo orange hoodie on the more scenic trips. Not too worried about hunters, but I know down here in Fairfax they cull the herds pretty heavily and signs have been posted about it even in the local parks in my neighborhood, and better to be safe.
 
Ok...I’ll step up and take a shot at this...

1) Tomorrow I’ll try to get a single post together with a pic of each bounty that’s actually up for grabs.

2) Based on the number of bounties, I’ll try to propose a selection order of the Top5 that could work.

3) I’ll reach out to dmoney via PM to figure out how we’ll deal with our tie.

If anyone has any ideas in the mean time...post ‘em!
