Hi all - thought I would take a stab at getting a little community support. Once again this year (5th year now) I am participating in a Polar Bear Plunge in my hometown, Rehoboth Beach, DE. The Plunge takes place on Feb 1st, 2026, and yes, I go into the ocean (neck deep) wearing just a bathing suit with the temps typically in the 30s. @Highli99 was on my team last year and can attest to how incredible it is to participate. This event supports the Special Olympics which is just a wonderful and heartwarming cause. I'm going to post a link below to my fundraising page. Imagine the amount that could be raised if everyone on this forum donated just $5 !! And that's all I'm asking, if you're so inclined and able. Of course, any amount is deeply appreciated. Two week out bump! This event supports the Special Olympics, which is just an amazing cause. If you've ever had any involvement with these kids you know exactly what I mean. Appreciate any and all donations.

Bumpity bump. 9 days out, on the cusp of a possibly historic winter storm with frigid air coming behind. Plunge this year should be epic!!! Appreciate any support offered

Hello again all - as a result of the recent winter storms in the Northeast, our local Polar Bear Plunge was postponed for safety reasons, until March 1st. So that gives me about two more weeks to try and get some more donations to help these amazing people in the Special Olympics. See my OP for a link to donate - any amount would be appreciated.
