Tourney WSOP league T30k blind structure (1 Viewer)

Looking for feedback on modifying the 2016 main event structure for our wsop league. Tourneys will run on Tues nites and I'd like it to last for about 8 hours of play, breaks will add some time.

30 players
30k chips
Maybe a couple rebuys before first break.
3 tables with dedicated dealers.
No Antes.

First two levels are:
100-200
200-400

I'm thinking of going with this but eliminating:
400-800
600-1200
800-1600 (add 700-1400)

And do same later,
Eliminate
4000-8000
6000-12000
8000-16000 (add 7000-14000)

What do the exberts say to do?

When it comes to the structure I have no idea. I will say though that I can't wait for the days when I can host a 8+ hour poker tournament on a weeknight and have more than one other person show up, let alone 30! Jealous - and good luck!

It's a $250 buyin, I should have mentioned, so I'd like to shoot for 6 or 7 hours of play at least. 3 events, plus the free championship tourney where starting stacks are based on league finish.

Wasn't the 2016 WSOP ME a 50,000 starting stack?

Anyway... here's a structure I used for my December 25k Deepstack tourney, and I modified it a little for your 30k stacks. With 25 minute levels, you should end near Level 17/18, which is right around 8 hours. I intentionally have it slow down a bit (as it relates to blind jumps) after Level 13, since the crowd will thin a bit by then, and play will become a tad more serious at that point.

(although I think that 8 hrs is insane for a weeknight)...

If going with no antes (and thus no T25 chips), I'd go with a structure similar to this one (150BB, 37% avg blind increases, with most ranging 25%-50%). Ending re-buys after three levels allows players to still purchase a re-buy stack worth at least 50BB, even if busting out at the very end of L3.

The event should end no later than L18 (20k/40k blinds).

Below are the estimated maximum play times for 30 players with T30K stacks (excluding any breaks) based on selected blind level times. You can tailor the event to fit into your desired time frame by tweaking the number (and length) of breaks combined with the blind level times below:

25-minute levels ~ 7:30 hours play plus breaks
23-minute levels ~ 7:00 hours play plus breaks
22-minute levels ~ 6:30 hours play plus breaks
20-minute levels ~ 6:00 hours play plus breaks
