Since many of the biggest, most well-known casinos seem to be glorified caricatures of their namesakes,
I was curious what most people prefer. So here's a poll to find out.

I wanted to post this as multiple polls/questions within one thread but don't think that's possible. This is multiple choice but just pick one of the 2 for each casino/real place.

Ok. Carnival then. I can't edit the poll now, but the last choice can either be for the Mardi Gras in New Orleans or Rio's Carnival.

Its up to you. You can do whatever you want at the casino, or whatever you want in the namesake location.

I'm pretty sure the only one on that list I would want to visit is Venice, Italy.

In terms of casinos, I have never been fond of the Venetian/Palazzo. I know they are impressive and well regarded properties, but the interior layouts have always confused me. My memory probably fails me but I also wasn't fan of how "open" the ceilings were in certain parts of the casino -- seemed like a massive waste of space.

In contrast, the Wynn and Bellagio seem to have drapes or awnings above the casino area and this always seemed like a nice way to add depth to the appearance. That being said, both of these properties are supposed to exude elegance so the extra "stuff" makes sense.

For me, all the real places -- except for Rio. Instead of that one, I'd go to Harrah's New Orleans.
