Here is an early work in progress for some mixed use poker tournament and blackjack tournament chips. I don't have an inlay design yet because I haven't settled on a name of the set yet. A couple ideas I have are "The absinthe room" or "Hollywood of the south". I like the 3916 spot pattern but I may do a progressive pattern as the denominations go up.

Denominations will be, $1, $5, $25, $100, $500, $1000, $5,000, $25,000.

It is, in fact, what exactly doesn't work. If you want chips to be distinct, you will try to maximize contrast between them. That includes colours and patterns.

Do you have a color sample set yet? Several of these colors will look very different in person than on your monitor. If you don’t have that yet, get one from CPC before you finish your design. There are several dirty stack issues here that you will likely want to change some of these colors to get more contrast with different base colors and/or edge spot colors.
