Why inlays on Paulson chips are not aligned with each other? (2 Viewers)

Hobby are you the one who post chips review on Youtube?!!! I almost watched all of them. Big fan of yours. You are like a mentor to me on poker chips. Those videos are both educational and fun (and I like your voice too). When I get bored reviewing finals I go to your channel and watch your videos! I'm looking forward to your casino chips episodes. Looks like you got a huge collection of them. Gonna be a lot of fun. Good to meet you here!

I myself is OCD as well. I would do the same thing going through 500 chips or more just to pick the perfect ones.To me it's the right thing to do. I also think I'll enjoy it.

Glad you enjoy the videos.

It's a tough job checking alignment on Paulson chips but someone has to do it - yeah, I enjoyed it. Not saying Julia is not capable, after all she has her OWN stamp!

I'm another one who didn't love the CPC chips. I ordered samples expecting to be blown away... but wasn't. Chalky...

I'm craving a Paulson set... newish condition. Decided I couldn't quite deal with the worn chips samples from Horshoe Cinci , even after I cleaned 'em up.

I can deal with unaligned inlays; that doesn't bother me much. But unaligned edge spots on ceramic chips pushes my OCD over the edge. WHY WHY WHY would any company sell them that way.

You guys are aware that brand new mint Paulsons are chalky too, right?

Same as Paulsons, only chalky when brand new.

I don't know... my only mint Paulsons are from a small sample I ordered years ago. I should have bought then! But I don't remember them being chalky/gritty like most of the CPC sample chips I got. The black one of the CPCs it was much less noticeable and I suspect would go away quickly with some breaking in. I couldn't tell if it was color or inlay dependent without ordering more.
