I am weighing my options of what I want to pair with my Horseshoe cash set, and have @Gear relabel. I have a couple of ideas and wanted everyones opinion to help me out.

Aria 1s ( love the look, but not sure about the mold difference)

Aztar snappers

PAD snappers

Waiting to see if original Horseshoe comes available in the next sale

Does anyone have any other ideas out there??? I really like the idea of having a matching label so would really like to stick with that plan for now. I love pink quarters, obviously since 3 out of the 4 I mentioned are pink, but open to other options.

What are your other denoms? 1, 5, 25? 100? I'd go for THC solid pink roulettes. Should be a bit easier to source than PAD snappers.

Or any TH&C $.50 will work since the $1 chips are THC mold...

I wish I had some haha. I know there are a couple racks floating around, try a wanted ad in the classifieds maybe

I found some cheap worn hot stamps to use because i need to be sure the condition will be similar between denoms... Not sure how worn the $1's will be but I'm pretty sure my Motor City quarters will be too mint to work

I went with some cheap, beat up chips, and I think they work fine with the cheap, beat up low denom primary's.
Thanks @Gear - great product!
And let me suggest that if there's a service where gear will apply your labels, pay for it! This is maddening work. I'm gonna try it with reading glasses, later.

wow, those quarters look like they really belong in that set..... good job with the color selection (y)

...and half the fun of relabeling chips is the actual applying of the label :D (I've done over 1400 chips myself)

i think you hit the winner there with that selection, they are perfect

it will be tough to find a better match than those i think

the used wear and tear match the $1's also !

good work from both you and gear

I like your orange quarters too, Mike. Some people will balk at an orange chip with a red chip, but I think that's nuts.
By the way, and this should probably go without saying, but it's A LOT easier to stick these labels on correctly with reading glasses on.
Sometimes I forget I'm getting old.

Plenty of NV casinos that once used orange quarter chips (usually hot-stamped).

Whoa, those brown quarters look great.

I have a spare rack of those sitting around. I might just go down the same road for my Horseshoe quarters. Thanks for the thought!

Mike those chips are so nice I just bought 2 racks for myself. Going to get some @Gear labels to go with them. Would you mind sharing the exact label specification details?

Did you have them clean the chips + mill the hot stamp? Or did you just leave the hotstamp under the label?

So the good news is that you don't need to have them milled (although @Gear actually performs this service I believe if you want to fit an even nicer label on it.) My labels are actually non laminated because the non milled recess area is thin (but very workable). I cleaned by hand but you can have them ultrasonically cleaned to save oodles of time.

The hot stamp can be removed with NON-acetone nail polish removal and a dab on a q-tip. That's non-acetone (right @BGinGA ?)

And bobs your uncle!

Oh! Edit: in the image I took, I actually left the hot stamp under the label but I am planning on removing them with the non-acetone nail polish remover.

Edit 2: @Gear actually has all the specifications for these chips as he owns some. He took perfect caliper readings! They are an amazing fit !! (That's what she said)

I will take some more pics as I apply more labels.

BAD NEWS: cleaning by hand with hot water and dawn is a slow process for these chippies. There is dirt in the outer ring that I had to spend some time dabbing with a toothbrush to get out! You would probably be gold ultrasonically cleaning them though.

Here are the unlaminated labels @Gear made for me:

I bought these sky blue WSOP chips from @Kyle to use with my mixed games limit set. I'm having Gear make up the labels for them. I'll post pics once my project is finished. Here are the mockup/teaser photos though... As you can see, I'm also relabeling the $100s as $20s because they go better with the colors in my limit set. The primary $25s are just too worn for me, plus I don't like the secondary $25s. And the colors don't blend well, so this is what I came up with. I really like how it's coming together.

Here's what it looks like with the set (I'm still debating which $20 I'm going to go with... I think I like the looks of the primary better on the face, but the secondary looks better in stacks. Plus it's more even with the other chips stack height wise... decisions, decisions)

I guess I should mention that I haven't yet experimented with oiling my now super clean Lucky Derbys.

I think I will apply the oil, let it absorb, towel it down, and let it get dry for a day and then try applying the label to make sure it adheres without slippage.

I am pretty sure it will be fine and the color match will be even closer with the deeper color!

My first thought would have been to wash them, apply the labels and then oil them in order to make sure you have the best possible adhesion between the label and a clean (oil free) chip surface. Perhaps others can chime in with their experience on this.

Yeah I am unsure myself as to what the best order is here.

That's what I would do as well...
