Amazon? Direct from the company’s website? Other?

I was looking into Desjgn cards - is this unsecured website actually theirs? http://classicplayingcards.com/

There’s actually this Desjgn seller too https://www.thepokerstore.com/collections/desjgn-100-plastic-playing-cards that’s a top search result, yet this site isn’t listed as a Desjgn official reseller http://classicplayingcards.com/catalog.html

I’m looking into more card brands than just Desjgn, but this specifically made me think about buying from a reputable source.

I might try desjgn soon, but order copags straight from their site.
We just got the 4 colour desjgn bridge size cards for my home game and they are the best cards we've ever used. Highly recommend, they kinda feel more papery than other 100% plastic cards while keeping the same level of snappiness if you know what i mean.

on here! classified section. people here will have whatever you need.

strongly recommend statesmen- currently has a group buy to get them
fournier is really good- but red isn't bright
del negro are really nice, smooth
kem good for one session after openning- they bow and are expensive. don't get these.
carta(something...) are very very smooth, too smooth for me. good for shuffling but that's about it IMO
copag typical and ok, but i'd try others before buying these.

these all offer bridge/jumbo and your players will probably like this setup.
bridge makes it easier to shuffle for dealers and players, jumbo makes it easy for everyone to see anywhere from
the table.
good luck!

I just used the link here for Desjgn in their vendor forum that points to their eBay auctions. Excellent cards, I get poker/jumbo index. Not a fan of bridge size myself.

+1 for Spinetti's. I just visited in person a few days ago and they had tons of new and used decks including ones apparently used in each year's WSOP (which I learned are bridge-sized to be easier to hold for dealers)

A twice-monthly tournament near me uses these cards:

https://www.thepokerstore.com/colle...lassic-100-plastic-playing-cards-special-rate

(The “Texas Hold’em” ones, not the other shown in the same listing.)

I actually like them just fine. They have enough weight not to get flipped by self-dealers and seem quite durable. I also like how the back pattern extends to the edge (no white border). At $3.75/each when bought in bulk they’re practically disposable.

Probably others have tried and hated them but honestly I think they’re decent. I’d use them in my own game, but they don’t offer four-color decks…

The box looks just like the C&G ones @louBdub recommended in his Amazon decks thread. I bet they feel quite similar and are good value

Have you used that set??
What are your thoughts on it?
Have you tried copag/bicycle prestige/ or other plastic cards?
I was going to order these from straight poker supplies… just want to gear the reviews

I have not opened the cellophane these ones yet. They look like the rest of the packaged plastic Modiano's though. Best price around for a massive stock of cards. The back design is generic but gets the job done. These cards should not disappoint if you are used to Modiano cards. For players transitioning from paper cards I'd say Modiano's are the closest a plastic card gets to a similar feel in my experience. Other plastic decks have lasted 6-12 games if on a proper table. Less if on a wood surface for example. I have tried Kem's (overpriced, don't understand the hype) and Copags (nice, thin and a big transition from paper). I really like the Modiano plastic cards, the acetates are the best but near impossible to find but the plastics get the job done.

I still say this is the best deal out there that I have seen. Da Vinci Route (poker size; red/blue) without the hard plastic case for $7.99/2 deck setup. $7.24/setup if you buy a dozen setups. Cards are sealed in plastic and come in a generic clear plastic covered box. I bought a dozen setups a few months ago and everyone loves them. This is the same site that imports and sells the C&G cards, which are $6.99/setup and as low as $5.49/setup for a dozen. https://chipsandgames.com/collectio...n-playing-cards-2-decks-in-clear-plastic-case

i'm way too new in the cards/poker game but doesn't the cards look more like bicycle brand than Da Vinci.
based on the design(with the bicycle on the border and bicycles wheels in the middle)
just my 2 cents.

Those cards were so damn good for the price.

I don't think that Bicycle has any kind of trademark or other design protection on the bicycle wheel design. Even Modiano has cards with that design on the back. I can assure you they are DaVinci cards and that Route is a DaVinci card.

I have Desjn poker and bridge jumbo index. Purchased through Etsy. They are my favorite cards right now. Still waiting on a set of Broken Arrow jumbo index poker size to come in. I also see that a bunch on here like the midnight faded spades
