Here is The Cornucopia Cup trophy I made for the upcoming tournament this next weekend. Next weekend can't get here quick enough! I'm itching to play some poker!!!

We had a great time last night at The Cornucopia Cup Tournament! We had 17 players battle it out for the right to take the beautiful Cornucopia Cup home!

A big congrats to our league member Chazz for winning The Cornucopia Cup! In the end, he beat out @YeaIKno who took home 2nd place and seems to always be a bridesmaid when it comes to our tournaments.
A big thanks to @Bfow0804 and @TravNasty for playing and helping out with running things as well! It is awesome to have a great team of guys who all step up and work together to make our league all it can be!!!

This upcoming weekend is our 2nd annual Christmas Charity Tournament! We will be taking donations for the Angel Tree charity. We normally have T10000 starting stacks but a donation of at least $10 will get our players an extra 5000 chips to start with. We also have an ugly sweater contest and I can't wait to unveil my sweater this Saturday!
I also made a trophy for the winner of the event. Here is a pic.
It looks like our elf on a shelf, Jingles, got ahold of the trophy first.

I was planning on taking the $ signs out of the blind info but it seems built into the settings and may be a bit tougher to remove than I originally thought.
It should be a great time this weekend! Hopefully we can get a decent turnout!

Our Charity Christmas Tournament was this past Saturday. It was a fun tournament and we were able to raise some money for the Salvation Army Angel Tree charity. In the end, our group raised $211 for the charity. That was more than double the $90 we were able to raise last year! Than you to our awesome group of guys for turning our love of poker into something positive for the local community!
We had a lot of great sweaters for our Christmas Sweater contest. Here are a few of the submissions.
@TravNasty was the winner of the swearer contest, beating my Inner Circle Poker OG sweater by one vote. (I knew I should've voted for someone else!) Too many Office fans in our group. Plus we were missing a few OG members from this tournament.
We had a smaller turnout with 13 in attendance for this one. Here are a few pics.
@TravNasty put his dealer hat on too early because he ended up needing it when he got knocked out and started dealing for the final table.

In the end, I took 2nd place and Will ended up with the nutcracker trophy and 1st place!
It was a fun evening! We raised some money for a good cause. We got to see some great Christmas sweaters. And we got to breakbin two of the new Barrington LED tables I just picked up from the Walmart sale!

Our January event is coming up in a couple of weeks. This will be another one of our major tournaments, with a bracelet going to the winner.
This tournament will be a deepstack freezeout tournament as opposed to our regular re-buy tournaments. I know a lot of us are looking forward to this one! Here is the new flyer as well for this one.

Just finished the new TD screen for our upcoming Freezeout Tournament next weekend. If the tournament was this weekend it would be a freezeout in more than one way. Temps are in the negatives recently. Hopefully it warms up a touch before next weekend.

Never got around to posting any pics of our last Freezeout Tournament yet. Better late than never. @Bfow0804 did an awesome job hosting once again! And congrats to @TravNasty for taking home the big win!

Thank you. It works out fine and many players don't even notice. I only do that because I don't have any Aria T25 chips. I would love to find 3 or 4 racks of them if anyone ever had any for sale.

If you look back to closer to the beginning of this thread, you can find last year's flyer for this tournament. I think our flyers have improved a step or two in the past year. I like how this one turned out!

We had our February Heartbreaker Tournament a week ago and I am finally getting around to posting a few photos of the event. Despite the fact I couldn't catch any decent hands during the tournament, it was still a really fun evening of poker! A huge thanks to @TravNasty for hosting an awesome night!
Since this was our Valentines Day tournament, we had lots of pink going on. What better way to spend the weekend after the holiday, away from our spouses, playing poker with the guys.
A big 3 way all in hand that wrecked some tournament lives and sent some players to the cash game!

I'm a bit behind on posting the results from our last tournament. Last weekend was our Shamrockpalooza Tournament. We had a nice turnout of 18 players.

Here is the flyer for our upcoming event in a couple weeks. It will be the last regular season tournament in Season 2 of our league.
