After seeing the game Cairn show up in my Steam homepage, I bought it, and it's a blast.
Solo mountain climbing adventure. It's slow and methodical, but very rewarding.
Manage resources, plan your path up the wall face, then climb!

i've been looking for lighter, puzzly fare lately. played botany manor because it was free on epic, now playing through escape academy - fun if you enjoy physical escape rooms, it captures the vibe pretty well.

I had just come to comment that I’ve been playing a lot of Balatro recently!

Specifically, I just started getting into the multiplayer mod, and it’s been a blast.

I've been watching an embarrassing amount of competitive Balatro lately with Bean's tournament and Major League Balatro season 3 starting which is also why I got back into the game.

I haven't played multiplayer yet myself for a few reasons (primarily I'm bad at higher stakes and am afraid how bad I will be at it) but I am hoping the original Devs release an official multiplayer game as a follow up so that I can play it on console and finally try it.

Jesus, beating Osquio took me 1:30m. Had to change the way I usually fight. This game is slick as hell.

I started playing in June. Still playing every day.

I didn't know there was a multiplayer mod. I always play on my phone though, looks like you have to play on Windows for that.

I think I’ve had some sort of Stockholm syndrome for League of Legends for years now, play all modes TFT, ARAM, and SR. Been playing a lot of TFT and ARAM mayhem lately. My friends and I call it the ol ball and chain no matter how many times you delete it you always come back. Like a siren song calling to me.

I play on my Switch so same boat. Still fun to watch even though I don't play it.

If the creator was smart he would team up with the modders and release the game as "Balastro Vs." or something similar as an official game on Windows, Mobile, and Consoles and print money. I'd be playing it every day.

Same here. Two of my sons play it. There have been times when I show them a game I'm playing and a question on what I should do and they sometimes disagree with each other. Now that I've been playing, I'd like to see who's better at the game.

Balatro has gotten both of them interested in poker. My oldest has played my regular online (Pokerstars) game a few times. My 14yo said one of his teachers lets them play in class sometimes. They gamble for school points lol (voucher good for the student store).

That's awesome, enjoy! I'm still playing it, almost finished. What a game!
I haven't gone back to really dive into the free DLC. But I played it twice within 2 months of it coming out. The 2nd playthrough gives you a much more complete picture of the story now that you understand everything. Was just as rewarding as the first playthrough.

Satisfactory has me in its clutches. Automating your first production line, the feeling is practically euphoric.

Even now at the office I'm thinking of how to optimize my modest assembly lines, machinery layouts, and expanding my power grids.

All these beautiful factories, and I just octopused all the way to the end game.

Played around 5 rounds of Arc Raiders this weekend. Still pretty new, level 6. Still looking for the dog collar.

Finally found the dog collar. Then headed for and exit. Bad timing to have my first player kill me lol. So lost it. Looked for one in the other 4 games, didn't find it again. Though heard another player using one of the pre-made voice clips, calling me from outside over and over. Finally go out there and he handed me a plan for a silencer. So that was cool.
