The games I have hosted have had chips worth $2000 on the table and off to the side where the stakes were $10 to buy in.Games I’ve been to: couple thousand.
Games I’ve hosted: $100 total and that was a tournament with a couple rebuys

Well $1500 is my personal record which is awful.
I was told an interesting story at the casino recently by a guy that was at a high stakes home game that got robbed by dudes wearing ski masks, armed with machetes. They had over $35,000 stolen. He had almost $5000 taken from him personally.
Mental
No guns in Perth. And yes certainly would have been some sort of inside job or someone around the casino games that heard about it.Really surprised someone wasn't strapped with that amount of cash up for grabs. Gun > Machete. May have been an inside-job?

Well there are certainly some about, the bikie gangs do for sure and there’s probably a chunk of handguns around, but it’s more prevalent in the eastern states of Australia I believe. Not even the criminals have guns?
Sounds like Perth needs some common sense machete regulations.
If machetes are outlawed, only outlaws will have machetes!

I think it was more for effect lolYeah, a machete? Who needs that much cutting power? Everyone should be able to carry a butter knife and that's it!
Not to worry--schools, hospitals, malls, etc. are all designated machete-free zones.I hope you guys are installing machete-proof doors in your schools

The writers of the constitution could not have foreseen such desctructive cutting tools. When are we going to move onto the topic of cordless reciprocating saws, a/k/a sawzalls? (In all seriousness: The most used tool in my barn.)

The horror!
This was during the recent meetup, in which some stacks were flying. @AWenger had brought his Cali Bells, and ran out of chips.10-12k in my game.
The NH/MA games put that to shame.
Look at this crazy psycho!
just curious how much you have seen

No semi-automatic weapons like you guys have to deal with.
There's a few guys on here that dont even use $1's. Only $5 and up
I'll bet some of the crazy MA games have pushed 30-40K
