What are some unexplored themes in custom sets? (1 Viewer)

I'm not aware of any Queen Elizabeth chips. I'm guessing an American casino could get away with that, but not a British one.

A Queen Elizabeth or George Burns tribute set.

The $1 would be when they were 1 years old, $5 when they were 5 and so on. Ends at $100, since they’re both centurions.

I know this.
Dinosaur Kid, the Astronomer, Croyd Crenson (the sleeper) was Zelazneys character I believe.
It kinda got weird in the later books, power transfer and stuff.
First 6 parts are great... This is the first time for me to meet the concept of "consortium of the authors"
I am also big fan of Zelezny work....

I worked on a Grand Slam tennis set for a while - Australian Open, French Open, Wimbledon, and US Open but could not come up with an inlay I was happy with for the Aussie & US Open.

As a life long surfer, I’ve always been interested in the idea of a surf themed set. I’ve seen beach themes…sure. But not surf in particular. I can get everything from shirts to bar ware to those stupid little charms people put in the holes of crocs. But not chips!!!

Do a Jeff spicoli from fast times at ridgemont high theme

Don't forget the Million Dollar Man chip!!!!
Best heel ever. So good.
I think Kama Sutra would make for a great theme for a large set.
Can’t WAIT to see the proof artwork. I can just imagine the conversations between customer and artist. “Naw man, change the position on the $1 chip. And can you make all the titties bigger?” lol

Bears beyond KGB etc, wolves and mythical Centauruses are underused.

Personally, if I ever make another set, I 'll dedicate it to Aegean lighthouses

I've always thought a Rat Pack set would be cool.

Photos of faces always look a little weird on chips. I thought some silhouettes might work.

This set was an interesting take on silhouettes also - https://www.pokerchipforum.com/threads/the-jazz-club-2019-feedback-wished.38251/

Also I've always liked odd numbers of spots and thought a reverse spot progression is interesting. So going 11, 9, 7, 5, 3 spot progression with the 3 being a tri-pie for highest value.

@Thomacetti

I’ve been thinking for a while about a Star Wars set (I know, not that original) but with notable planets for each inlay. I’ve not got anywhere but thinking of Kashyyyk for a $25

Any Dinosaur sets? Steampunk? Futuristic?

Pool themed? I've searched this but it just brings up a separate topic about it within the forum. It's my idea for a solids tournament set "Black Crab cue & card club" using the club logo/denom one side and the corresponding number to ball colour the other.
